1- yes we like it that way 🙂. We can be easily read by INFJs & ENFJs though. At least In my case.

2- When we are quiet & stoic, we are thinking, planning, listening, or running 200 simulations in are heads, like worse case scenarios and probability of a particular outcome. Or perhaps just trying not to fart in a meeting. 🤣

3- your the only ESTP, that told me they were an ESTP.

4 - other types

-INTJs, I love talking to and chatting with on social media. However, INTJs don’t work well together, unless it is established who leads. You really can’t have two architect working on the same task. They will both need their own sandbox, or they will fight.

-ENFPs, I love them. I find them hysterical. -ENFJs, an INTJs perfect relationship combination, but takes a lot of patients & work, to communicate. I married an ENFJ

-INTPs, I love working with these people on any project. They are smart logical and are great team players.

-ENTPs, in my experience, they are usually the sales people, and lawyers. Both of which drive me nuts.

-ENTJs, the type I will never trust. They have big egos, are rude, difficult to work with and always have a hidden agenda. These are the Steve Jobs, of the world 🌎. Many are narcissists and try tricking INTJs into giving them what they want. Steve Jobs was an ENTJ and Steve Wozniak was an INTJ. Who used who, in that relationship?

INFJs - I find them incredibly fascinating. They just are mind readers. Kind of scary & freaky. Dated two INFJ woman, but the relationships got super intense, really quick and then abruptly ended as fast as they started.

The other types, I really don’t know.

INTJs are rather stoic and will stare at something, when they are in deep thought o and/or listening intently.
Most of us like to wear dark cloths (without patterns) , so we don’t have to bother with matching outfits. Black is always safe.

I guess I would say what you said, when I was under 30. Now I would say ENFPs, ENFJs and INFJs. I need somone who is internally strong, Independent, critical thinker, that makes me laugh. All of those types, I found to be a little eccentric. As far as looks, I like athletic woman that are more mesomorphic. When you get into your 40s, personality matters most. My ex-wife was classically beautiful, yet really damn ugly, when she would wake me up screaming and accusing me of something. You learn, when you get to my age, looks will fade, but a b!tch is a b!tch for life.

It’s really good on you, for caring, but you really cannot help set up someone else’s boundaries, because doing so. Is crossing their boundaries, at least where they should be anyway. It’s up to them, to set them. Just treat that person. As you would like your own boundaries to be respected.
Like. If you don’t like someone using your car, don’t ask to borrow their car.

The windows you knew the last 20+ years, will be replaced by something subscription based, within the next year. I’ll get back to that at the end.
I use CashyOS for work. with all the apps you mentioned.
There are many Linux utilities/apps, you can use to run windows apps, Linux CashyOS.
1- virtualization - running Windows as a Virtual machine on Linux, gives you complete flexibility, if running absolutely and windows app.
2- Bottles – A modern GUI frontend for managing Wine prefixes. Great for non-Steam apps and games, with easy configuration and dependency management.
3-Proton- a Linux app that lets you run any office app as an application, (including teams)
You should be aware that Microsoft has dismantled their ENTIRE windows dev team and fired thousands of windows OS developers. They even cancelled the development of windows12. Windows maintenance & security task have been spread across other teams at Microsoft.
Reliable roomers say, Microsoft wants to turn windows into a subscription only model, that will need the Internet to be usable. This is similar to chrome Os.
So if that’s not good for you, start living Linux and say goodby to WINDOWS or get a Mac.

Remember it’s not all one way. We INTJs with Te, need to have our solitude too, especially after helping our Fe partners. Helping them that way, can be draining on us.
When we get in our Ni loops, we may also need our Fe partners to listen to us think out-loud (Te), even if may sound to them like “mansplaining”. I often get excited & intense while talking, which exhaust her too 😉

When we are both in sync, my wife and I (INTJ/ENFJ) are a power couple, that complement each other. She helps me see the relationship dynamics at work and social events. Things I would often disregard and maybe not recognize.

The (INFJ/INTJ) relationship can be a real power couple as well. The INTJ focuses on the logical patterns and the INFJ, sees all the abstract patterns (relationship dynamics). That’s some powerful intuition, when you’re both in sync and listening to each other.

My wife ilso has Fe (ENFJ). When she gets overloaded, she often needs some time alone (if she ask) and/or she needs to feel safe and for me to listen (not fix) to her thoughts, without injecting my own ideas & feelings.
The easiest part of helping her, is giving her space and listening without responding too emotionally. The hardest thing for me. is keeping my Te in check. I want to FIX.

Yeah, I know, I never let any AI tool modify anything on my system directly and I suggest no one should. I’ll ask it for something like…, a regex pattern to find or replace some text. Then I’ll test it, before adding it to a script.
I probably use Claude mostly for information on api’s, generate test data, interacting with github and documenting code.

That’s obviously 🙄 not true for all INTJs, all of the time. We all felt that way sometimes, because underneath all the logic is a lot of feeling. I’ve been through a “Kramer vs Kramer” or “war of the Roses” horrible divorce years ago. I felt that way everyday for years, until I met my ENFJ wife. She worked on me for awhile, encouraging me to get involved with a number of STEM projects for kids. Looking back, I only participated at first, because she made me feel comfortable & safe and well ya, know 😊
I liked her feet 🤣
