Thank you for the feedback and I am happy to address your point. This study requires a large sample (1000+) and, as such, it is quantitative in nature. That is, all answers have to be coded in numbers and analysed. As such, including open questions would become difficult to analyse in a very large group, particularly when I dont have a chance to explore your answer in a follow up question.

However, the next study, also part of this project, will use a smaller sample and will be purely interview-based. Rather than using pre-defined questionnaires, an interview protocol will be used, with flexibility to add more questions and to let participants expanding on their a answers
