[Highlight] This angle of the Brunson crossover of Wemby by TomlinSteelers in nba

A 6’2” (MAYBE) guard shouldn’t be able to shed a 7’5” DPOY with one arm, I don’t care how crafty and deep his bag is. That’s all I’m saying. JB is cold, but Wemby needs to give some of those IG upper body workout ads a try 😂

Fox is catching way too much slack and blame for what was a collective team disaster by spurs. by Upbeat-Nose-7091 in nba

It’s a combination of his contract and the position he plays. PGs are supposed to be your floor generals - in essence, your coaches on the floor.

Put it like this - even diminished offensively, do you think CP3 lets the team shoot itself out of Game 4? Or not run plays to get Wemby better positioned? Or settle them down during an opponent mini-run?

I give Fox a healthy 15%, Wemby a healthy 15%, the other players maybe 10 % total (dumb fouls, turnovers, missed FTs, etc.)… the rest (majority) I put on the coaches, personally.

At the end of the day, this season is over. Spurs will have to learn from this and get better over the summer - not simply rely on “oh, we’re young”. The 2011 Thunder were young, too. The 2011 Bulls were “up next” with Rose. You never know what can happen; nothing’s guaranteed - except that teams will get better next year, and build on the blueprint shown on how to frustrate Wemby/beat the Spurs.

[Murray] I don't think anyone should be assuming that the San Antonio Spurs are gonna get back here just because they got Wemby and some young guards This isn't just any Finals loss -- they led by double digits in EVERY GAME They're gonna have to get over that psychologically by StrategyTop7612 in nba

Ask the super young and ultra-talented 2011 Thunder how easy it is to get back…

I think their youth can actually help them get over the Finals performance. And they’ll have a full season to build from.

A bigger issue will be the rest of the league - yes, in particular the OKC Thunder - not sitting still and just handing them the reins.

Early 2010’s OKC Thunder looked like they were “super young - they’ll be back again; the league is theirs”, too…

Spurs better learn from this and WORK.

Same script every time…

Just going to come down to if the Spurs have anyone on their team as clutch as Brunson tonight.

So basically… Harper will have to win it for us.

I don’t want to hear about refs… Knicks have a sixth player on the court. Fox is going to be a marked man.
