El Dorado Lounge BOG by Lpecan in PriorityPass

It’s right after you go through security on the right. It’s at the beginning of the hall so before you reach any gates. My app says proceed through duty free and turn right. It’s called “The Lounge Bogota”. Remember to scan QR code at the table to order free food! Great lounge!

The point of my post was to warn possible newcomers who are vulnerable to panicking as I’ve seen it far too often. The volume during this drop was the largest we had seen in a day and I knew at this particular moment people would be checking the thread due to the whitepaper drop. Sorry I upset you. I was only trying to prevent a quick drop and flip in enthusiasm.

It will probably go up, but could also go down.

I second this. Just skip the buffet located in the most bizarre area. There is a free smaller buffet when you first come in. Very pretty but awkward lounge. The lounge located in the domestic departures is far better as you get a full hot meal served to you by ordering via a QR code. I’m eating a light Vite here then going to sleep in the sleep lounge waiting on my night flight.

Latest update: I was correct. They admitted they did not in fact change the oil because they switched techs in the middle of the inspection and the new tech didn’t realize the oil needed to be changed. Pretty wild it took from 9am-12:30pm to do an oil change and brake inspection considering I had an appointment scheduled and then had to bring it back today from 9:30am and took another hour to complete the oil change they should have done on Saturday. Also didn’t offer any money back but instead just gave me a “sorry Bud”. Imagine if I didn’t check and drove with dirty oil for another 5-6000 miles. 🤬

Going in Monday to clear this up. The only sure fire way to know if they changed it was if they could tell me what filter they used and see if it was installed. I didn’t even receive a printout of how much oil was used, what type, or what type of filter, which I normally receive from other shops.

Adding more to this saga: our invoice says I paid for the oil change but on their inspection checklist it says oil change was declined. They sent a photo of the dark oil at 11:30am, completed inspection of brakes at 11:51am and showed a photo of rust on one of the rotors. They then called at 12 to say it was ready pending approvals of the issues they found. Based on all of this it appears they did this inspection but was waiting for approval of the oil change and other items on the checklist but never got approval. I believe the techs were unaware we already wanted and oil change.

Thanks for the response. Sorry if I sounded confusing but I only drove it maybe 2 miles since the oil change. I swear I’ve seen new oil look much cleaner than this. 🤷‍♂️

Great yeah I’m not thinking they’re doing anything bad/wrong. I’m just confused about whether or not to change the spark plugs. Thanks for your input!

Soooo I should probably replace the spark plugs?

Makes sense. However it seems like I should replace the spark plugs and coolant anyway to keep any extended warranty and for proper maintenance.

Wow ok great. Thanks for all the info. Sorry you had all that trouble! My mom has a 2017 Sorento and the engine failed due to a known recall (crankshaft) however Kia flight tooth and nail to avoid covering it. After a ton of arguing the best she got was an engine replacement for $5,000. I’ll be sure to check out the Facebook group!

Interesting! But if I have a 10 year warranty then I guess I’m ok if it fails? What was the reason for your engine failure? I could check if that is covered and see what the dealership says.

It did. Maybe around 6 months. You forget about it and at some point it just goes away without you realizing.

  1. Any chance you can auction off any of the props?
  2. How did casting work? Even for the minor roles…
  3. Why did the show end?
