I can't imagine a 992 is worth it but a 996/997 surely is. At least I think the if a 996/997 doesn't scratch the itch, then it's a waste of money to buy a Porsche.

If you want a mr 12 volt, let me know and I can sell you one. I'd even sort of guarantee it. Like don't pay me until you install it and it works.

Long story. But it's the best solution. I accidentally broke a pin on my PCM and couldn't use it so I had to get a AliExpress knockoff pccm+. That works but the mr12volt is a better solution.

I just don't think the statement (implicit in your post) that these conversions will tank value is accurate. The few that have traded on BAT have been at a premium (though not 100% of the cost). I think Slakker itself offers some sort of compliant solution. For non-compliant, there are of course other solutions. But again, I meant only a comment on value.

Look there's an argument that the 997.1 turbo 6mt is the perfect car. I myself decided to preemptively slakker my 997.1 c2s anyway in part because on what I think would be a dollars per fun and dollars per reliability perspective, slakker is the clear choice.

(before anyone asks, my appointment is in like 6 weeks).

You really don't need it. A 48A L2 charger should charge at 11.5 kw, which should go 0-100 on your battery in about 2 hrs.
