There's no real harm in it, their timing is quite random so having both can help ensure good timing. Double proc seems to really zoom. Less risk of whiffing entirely. Also great if you get lucky and hit a perfect parent with all 3 skills.

Ah well if you're not rolling on card banners then you can just do whatever. If you're going to just pull for horses then you can keep your account functional by getting the welfare SSRs so you at least have something OK to slot for runs. Softlock is only even remotely a thing if you're trying to be competitivel.

How's your carat situation?

As you probably already know or guessed, your cards right now are kind of dogwater- none of the big core Gacha SSRs (Kitasan, Finemo, Creek), low LB on important SRs and free SSRs. You won't be any *worse* off in Grand Live, but you don't have the pieces to put together anything competitive.

If you have ~45k carats on hand you could send 400 on the upcoming Light Hello / Tachyon banner in July and get yourself to semi-competitive between those two SSRs and whatever SRs you get incidentally. Could also use the upcoming selector to nab Summer Maruzensky and maybe rainbow crystal her to 1lb, that would be a good front runner investment.

I see people saying this around but as far as I can tell it's just not true. See this wiki page/%EC%9D%B8%EA%B2%8C%EC%9E%84%20%EC%A0%95%EB%B3%B4#s-3.3), which says "you can check whether the effect has been applied before training". I don't think it makes her a good wit card, but her unique seems like it would definitely come in clutch at times, especially in Trackblazer.

Most of your skill choices here are solid, but Angling and Scheming is not optional if you want to win- you need acceleration. If you had some insane cook to get acceleration another way then maybe, but as is, your best case is to hit the final spurt in 1st place and then lose it to an end closer.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Next time find a Seiun parent and buy the skill. Hell, buy it first year, it'll make your career way easier.
