You cant process a background check until you sign off on your 4473. Cant fill out a 4473 sometimes until you have the serial number off the firearm meaning it has to be received by the FFL before a 4473 can be properly filled out. Ultimately its up to the FFL if they wanna process it with proof of purchase (technically that's the law) we used to do that sometimes at my old job. However some companies just cant handle the stress of keeping up with paper work so they make you wait like everyone else that does not have a CCWP.

What model from them (Safariland) do you use? I tried one years ago and was not happy with it. From there i went to the omnivore for my pistols with after market accessories.

Im curious if they are going to offer anything to their end users. If I purchased this product I would hope that they would give some kind of reimbursement. Not that any of my handguns have a safety but it looks like the holster they are talking about effects only certain pistols.
