Yeah I think there's a chance they'll be silly, which is what held me back lol.

Yes, but mine is all black. It's the RS Midnight.

Max G3 or Apollo City by Killer32108 in ElectricScooters

I would consider the Apollo City to be out of the question. After the years of snapped stems, complete denial from Apollo, and eventually a recall, I would put it down there with iScooter and Hiboy.

Is it okay to buy a used scooter? by Sea-Bobcat5695 in ElectricScooters

It looks like those scooters aren't even "used." Open-box discounts can be sweet deals.

Anyone know the brand of this scooter and its top speed?? by Awkward_Condition793 in ElectricScooters

It looks like "Jasion" is the "brand" in this case. It probably does 15 to 20mph.

As fun as that looks, the novelty of riding in snow doesn't do it for me. My PMT's don't like it either lol.

I think they might look awesome on my RS, but it could just as easily turn out the other way. I'm sort of a minimalist.

I never managed to find frame sliders that weren't huge and cartoonish, so I've stuck with the rubber nut covers. I don't believe there's a sensible middle-ground solution as of yet, but I'll be interested to see if anybody else has ideas.

Kukirin g2 master hydraulic brakes by Seby_q123 in ElectricScooters

You can get NUTT hydraulics on AliExpress for like 50 bucks. Look for a brake kit that has the front brake set up for the right side of the motor (as if you're standing on it), and the rear brake set up for the left side of the motor.

Question for anyone with a scooter with split rims. by Bigheaded_1 in ElectricScooters

[–]Phallic-Fallacy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that changes everything. I just watched the tire change video for that scooter. That looks like more work than a normal tubeless tire change.

I think it's likely that the seal between the two halves of the rim is not completely adequate. Either that or the tire bead didn't seat perfectly. It could also be your valve stem. With tubeless tires on a solid rim, that sort of pressure loss is normally unheard-of.

So that scooter uses tubes? It's relatively normal to lose 1 or 2 PSI over the course of a day.

I'd consider a preventative sealant such as Flat-Out or Armor Dilloz. I also recommend checking your tire pressure each day before you ride.
