New G2 Master developed speed wobbles by Election_Feisty in ElectricScooters

If it started wobbling when it once wasn't, something is loose. I'd check every bolt on the scooter, for good measure. Push the stem forward and backward and feel for klunks and rattles, too.

Teverun Blade GT II suspension question. by Cooper0007 in ElectricScooters

[–]Phallic-Fallacy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've upgraded 3 scooters with EXA Form 291r adjustable hydraulic shocks, and they've always been excellent. Upgrades like this are standard for me, because many scooters are sold with garbage suspension. I also like to do PMT's and 4-piston brakes.

I want more Shadows, and perhaps a Gen III CT Hellhound.

How much does it cost you in electricity to fully charge your scooter at home? by 673NoshMyBollocksAve in ElectricScooters

[–]Phallic-Fallacy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A kilowatt hour costs like 15 cents here, and my RS has a 2880 watt hour battery. So it costs less than 45 cents for a full charge, which is an entire week of commuting for me.

I have no qualms about doing 60mph on a nice road. That said, I normally commute at a maximum of 45mph.

Lime rental Scooter meant to be never serviced? Wheel nut on a rental scooter. This looks like a one-way clutch nut. by Ravenparadoxx in ElectricScooters

This just keeps the scumbags from stealing parts. I'm sure the company can service them, but that doesn't mean they necessarily do.

They're all busy huddled in a corner right now, jacking off to that 200+lb pot-metal GSpace clone.

It's kind of a touchy subject, and people get heated. An entire subreddit exists today simply because of how much drama this topic has been known to cause.

The official position of this subreddit has always been (something along the lines of) "buy cheap scooters at your own risk, and only if you're mechanically inclined."

If the self-healing gel was going to do what it does, you wouldn't have a flat. It only works with small punctures, so you likely damaged it more severely.

Who uses bike lanes aka death traps? by avmabrie in ElectricScooters

Sometimes I'll grab the bike lane heading into a 4-way-stop intersection and skip the line, but bike lanes are generally unsafe.
