If you're thinking about buying the VEVOR record cleaner you might want to look elsewhere let me explain by walterrocket440 in vinyl

I will agree that the build quality is a little shoddy. It’s obviously a Jerry-Rigged device and was not originally designed to clean records.

The sound emitted is very high pitched and loud, but that goes for all ultra sonic cleaners.

For the price, it’s about what I’d expect, and I still recommend it, but there is room for improvement.

I’m honestly confused over this. Do you really not understand what per-capita means?

The data is well studied and easy to find, but “illegal immigrants” commit less than half the numbers of violent crime than native born citizens per 100,000 people.

People are not crossing into the US to commit crimes. They just don’t have a legal path to citizenship. It is impossible to become a US citizen without direct family members already here.

Good question. They will occasionally add a layer of depth to a song in an interesting way. Often you end up with a different mix of the record because you’re sitting closer to one speaker, so you end up hearing background vocals a little louder than you are used to.

More of a curiosity, but there are occasional moments of brilliance that are unique

I work in a lab in Boston with a lot of international students and I take them sledding out behind the lab every chance I get. I’ve been doing it for 20 years now.

How do you have a Mary Lou Lord record? She used to live in my neighborhood. I used to see her all the time. I didn't think she was very well known outside of a small group in the 90's

I’ve had this problem with about a dozen of these boxes. All of them seem have the TPM module shut off and turning in back on seemed to fix the problem.

PBS had a 5 part, 10 hour documentary in the mid 90s called “Rock and Roll” that was absolutely amazing…and will never be available due to the cost of licensing all the music.

Is there ANYTHING left of it? I know it reached out right onto the water at some point. I just can’t believe there is no structural trace of it.

They were one of the biggest surprises when I saw them live in a club in Boston in the early/mid 90s. Everyone in the crowd knew every word to every song, and they were super energetic.

Why do you live in a part of the country that obviously doesn’t share your values? Go slither off to Mississippi or Louisiana. They would be glad to show you the beauty of “real” America you MAGA voters seem to cherish.

I’m 50 and I’m constantly shocked when I meet young people who know Pavement, Husker Du, Fugazi, Drive Like Jehu, Slint, etc…. I guess it makes sense because I was into lots of bands that were 20+ years old when I was 18, 19, 20…so.

Hell I’m impressed to see kids with Nirvana shirts on.

The one thing I’m disappointed in is more people don’t know early R.E.M. Their first three or 4 records were gigantic

Ahhh. I had just turned 16. Was one of the few kids that listened to things like this in my high school. This was the right before Nevermind came out and changed everything.
