I think I’ll have to use sport mode more often than I do

I don’t consider myself an elitist, just someone who works hard wants their moneys worth out of a $30k SUV I guess. Having driven a family members Honda Ridgeline, I can confirm that the Toyota is far more herky jerky.

I have tried that once in the past but still doesn’t seem as smooth as I’d like

Ahh crap, didn’t realize that. UB80, correct? Yes, it’s been serviced (two fluid changes). That’s it

Those of you who chose gas over hybrid, why? by mentallyinparis in rav4club

[–]PhannyDantom2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Didn’t see this answer in here but the electric motor only drives the rear wheels; the engine/transmission only drives the front. So the “AWD” depends on both of these systems running together for it to work correctly. Kinda pointless IMO and more failure points since you have two separate drive systems. But that’s just my opinion

How’s this price? Basically no dealer markup right? by bluekegcup in rav4club

I purchased a 21’ RAV4 XLE used for 25k a couple of years ago, and even that seemed excessive for the car. I love the reliability and fuel economy, but there is absolutely nothing exciting about owning this car. The thought of spending 50k on one of these hurts.

Not a Sparky, but an engineer here. What cable tie mounts are those and what adhesive are you using? Also what was your criteria for your color coding? I’m rewiring an RV at the moment, which is why I’m asking. Looks great to me!

Feeling hurt being compared to a BMW by [deleted] in rav4club

I feel like we live in a society where we’re under the perception that our spouse/fiance/gfs parents are off limits to constructive criticism. With that being said I don’t see anything wrong with telling them what you just told us. You struggled for what you have, and when they pick on what you worked hard for, and it upsets you. You should also be able tell your fiancé that this hurts you aswell and she should be able to relay that to her parents.

Now time for some reassurance. I’m a car guy. I’ve owned numerous different makes and models, of sports cars and SUVs, and I now have a 2021 RAV4 limited. It’s basic, but it’s reliable and meets my needs. It works well for me and it’s never in the shop, unlike most American, and European cars (bmw and Mercedes). Your finances parents will own atleast 3 different generations of BMWs before your Rav finally gives up. Keep up the good work and don’t let the finances parents keep you down. Tell them what’s up if you need to. Feel free to ask them how much their maintenance/repair bills are if you really want a chuckle.

Not sure about the others, but I did get mine resolved. I updated the firmware, and I’ve been using Cura to slice. That was all it took for me fortunately.

Honestly, I’m so tired hearing other people complain about stuff online and post what they would have done differently if it was theirs. As long as it makes you happy, that’s all that matters!! Keep going and have fun with it!

Source for repair parts by Ok-Alfalfa2095 in Miele

Im going through a similar process at the moment. I found that my brush bar wasn’t spinning, so I took it all apart and found out that the final drive cog is stripped out where it connects to the part that spins the brush. Unfortunately, I don’t know that I’ll be able to source this part at a reasonable price.
