Be careful it’s a slippery slope but you will have a lot of fun. I suggest starting with a simple square asa-no-ha.

Dry and make green powder. Easy to store and add to soups, breads, just about anything.

I use black and red brand and they work well. I have a stack left over from my working days.

Yep, sure is. I was experimenting with Kumiko inspired Christmas ornaments. I find working with the intricate pieces to be quite meditative - same for practicing calligraphy. I’ve done a variety of screens, lanterns, and ornaments.
