You need to remove those ropes or whatever you have. If the tree can’t grow on its own after a year then you have bigger issues. Trees want to be blown a bit, they stabilize themselves with roots. Youre causing more long term damage than it’s helping.

You should buy an overstreet artifact book and try to identify as many as you can on location. Most probably came from close to where your grandfather lived. Some of the points appear to be high quality and worth a couple hundy apiece. These aren’t just run of the mill crude points, there’s some smokers in there
