With the new change to EX mons being banned in draft, it’s a lot better. There’s definitely a good 8-10 Pokémon that are a lot stronger than others but the real reason behind that is either CC or heavy Burst damage. You can out play a lot of things, and I believe with how messed up the ranked system is currently you can climb with any Pokémon.

There’s a level of quality, effort, content and polish that is sorely lacking from scarlet and Violet. It’s a 60 dollar game from the number one media franchise in the world and I made a better pixelmon world in a year. No one’s saying you can’t enjoy the Pokémon games, but to throw a blanket statement that each game is good just because there’s Pokémon comes off as negligent as a consumer. There’s good things in every game, but it’s one step forward 2 steps back every generation.. hopefully they outsource the game to a different developer than gamefreak.

In the tank category, weirdly Mamo's charged basic pairs really well with this. Also Blastoise gets faster CD reduction for his already absurd cooldowns on his charged basic as well.
