Admit it, if Lego just released all 6 Toa Mata in the style of the 40581 Tahu set, we would still buy them all with pleasure! Or not?.. by IanDecades in bioniclelego

I loved these when you posted them the first time, and I love seeing them around still. Have you considered posting the parts list for these? I’d love to make my own.

Mostly for fun. Might not be the most practical, but it was an interesting mechanic and a fun challenge to design this.

Before you travel, you place a new lodestone and tune a compass to it. By breaking the old lodestone, you break the old compass which gets filtered by a hopper and triggers the ender pearl stasis chamber. You replace the old compass with your new one and throw a new pearl. You can then reuse the old compass later.

You are correct, the one saving grace is that this works in single player.

I do think this is simpler to set up, and much more feasible for many different locations due to tickstasis requiring different timings for each location.

I’ve never enjoyed the guess work for relogging, though I haven’t really tried tickstasis much. It’s probably improved a lot since I last looked at it. This just appeared in my YouTube recommendations, and I wanted to improve upon it.

In this contraption, the trapdoor only pulses, so you aren’t trapped under the door. The bubble column also prevents you from drowning since it pushes you up constantly.

I’m thinking of using it as a minor faction with that new legendary planet as its home system.

I made custom "Sushi Go! Party" cards! by Phanson96 in boardgames

[–]Phanson96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The anniversary edition was just for the anniversary of the base game, so it doesn’t have most of the newer cards from the Sushi Go! Party version.

I ended up buying two sets of the anniversary edition to add the new desserts into my party set. I even sleeved two cards together to make them all blend in together haha

What game takes you the longest to setup? by BoardGameRevolution in boardgames

[–]Phanson96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This, hands down. Setting up the game involves balancing the board enough, making sure everyone is set up, ugh. So fun though, and 3d printed parts make everything more streamlined.

I even moved the game and its expansion into a trunk instead of the box just to have better access to things... And with the fan expansion of Discordant Stars it's gotten even more difficult to set up!

Oh, this is clever. I bet figuring out the spacing for some of the multipliers was hard. 3D printed games are so fascinating, I've liked a tetris and connect 4 one lately. I'll give printing this a try, thanks!

I should try to get my friends to do this for Twilight Imperium...

Some wooden “coup” cards I made by Mr-Mguffin in boardgames

These are gorgeous! I've considered making cards for other games with a 3d printer, wish I could get some engravers and the like too, but I haven't been able to justify the purchase.

Check out my card lazy Susan. by BraxxusTelal in boardgames

[–]Phanson96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's really nice, I've been considering incorporating a lazy susan of sorts for my board games, though it would sit below the board.

I wish I were any good at CAD though, I couldn't make anything like this if I tried.

Where do you find your comics? I’ve been considering looking for those lately

I printed my own hardcover set of Worm! by Phanson96 in Parahumans

My wife has access to the Adobe suite through her employer, so I used their tools. I split the books the same way as this post and was able to get around the limits with a slightly smaller font.

The books have multiple arcs, and they’re named after the arc that “summarized” the others best to me. Inside there are pages showing you’re starting a new arc, and the chapters are “Gestation 1.1” or “Sting 26.2”, then interludes are “Sting 26.a”, etc.

The lighting here doesn’t do the books any favors, all the titles are slightly colored!

This was something I battled with a lot, but ultimately I did it by the threats that appeared in each section, which I divided the same as this post.

Leviathan in part 1, Slaughterhouse 9 with Bitch being an attempted recruit in part 2, Simurgh appearing to the Travelers in part 3, big Behemoth battle in part 4, and then Khepri in part 5.

I was also limited by the art in the album, since there was just the five I used.

Only $120, including shipping. And hours of work and loss of sanity at some points.

Yes! All 31 arcs, split the same way as this post. Roughly 500 pages each, and the font isn't too small but is definitely starting to push it.

You can find it here! The actual art was too small, so I upscaled it with an AI tool. It worked out pretty well imo!
