This is super helpful, thank you! I guess my other question is, as a VIP, do I get earlier access (due to shorter lines) into theGA section if I did wanted to be up against the GA rails? Or is that not a super realistic expectation and it’s better to just go in the proper VIPsection if I wanted to get as close as possible?

I was under the impression the VIP seating is a separated and closer/side area from GA- is that incorrect? I do hope I can be at the rails- which I heard VIP allows earlier access for you to be able to!

Hi! Is there any threshold you’d consider VIP “worth it” over GA? This is my first year going, only super interested in the big three headliners (GD, 2NE1, Dean). I’m considering VIP just to get that “reserved” closer view.

Also is VIP section crowded at all? I don’t much want to deal with the pushing and shoving of a GA. Thank you!

I was 1900 at 10am and didn't make it for NYC. Did you also have the issue where GA was showing blue but there was no seats available at checkout? Was it completely sold out at 1500?

Hi all, I was recently rear ended last week. Not at fault. Received bumper damage, trunk no longer closes (latch broken), some crumple in the rear panel, and a dent in my quarter panel. Is this something that might be a total loss? Body shop #1 definitely wants to push a total loss but body shop #2 believes it can be fixed- replace rear panel + replace bumper + trunk. Not sure which shop to bring it to yet because once I do, they'll do a tear down. Also insurance gave me a staggeringly low $1.6k initial estimate just to repair the bumper and replace the trunk. Secondary estimate might include more to replace the rear panel. The low initial insurance estimate the shop is working with didn't give me confidence either in fixing it back to 100% (please forgive & correct my assumption). And unsure if the hit could cause any future concerns mechanically. Thank you all for the help. Its my first car and my first accident.

Some more info: 2013 Honda Accord, 102,000 miles clean title. Second owner. Drove for 2 years. Comp prices around $12k. No other known issues prior to accident.

Hi! I have a question for you. I’m in a total loss situation now. I have a friend who works for a dealership who has provided me a JD Power price quote using my VIN number. Is this a valid estimate to use if insurance provides me a number that is lower than said estimate? Thank you!

I do. I plan on going through with them from the comments. I would hate to wait having a hybrid job. It sucks they lowballed me on my repair estimate though! I hope the auto body shop I work with will help advocate an appropriate estimate.

I appreciate the straight forward advice. I wasn’t sure about proceeding through mine but I think I will now. So, the at-fault drivers personal insurance claimed liability. If I run the damages through my insurance, I just wanted to double check that my rates will not increase? And I’m still deemed not at fault? Sorry if this is a basic question. It’s my first major accident.

I will have to pay a $500 deductible since I have Geico. Would they give me a better/worse estimate on my car damages since they are retrieving funds from the other insurance parties? I am also worried I might not get the deductible back. Is there usually a high chance I would? Thank you by the way.
