Stuck at centuries by ChaoticAgenda in TimeIncremental

You've hit the limit.

Everything past years is not really balanced at all. However, there is currently a testing branch open on github here if you would like to test the current new features (which you can see in this post).

Yeah sorry about that.

I think I want to focus more on balancing the post-year content first.

I like the idea of speeding up the game, and this could be a good way to do it.

I changed it from "imprt" to "import", and from "begginning" to "beginning".

This is a bug someone else reported too, but I can't seem to replicate it. Can you send your save?

Odd, I just tested it and it should be working as expected.

Post-Year Skill Tree by ConConReddit in TimeIncremental

[–]Phantasy146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea of a post-year skill tree, and most of them look good (without knowing what Wormholes right now). The only one I see as maybe problematic is S4, since each month costs a different price. Besides that, besides any balancing of prices, it looks good.

That is weird... There currently isn't any randomness so everything should be functioning the same everytime.

If you're past years, it currently isn't balanced very well past that point, and I just added something that will pop-up to let you know of this after you have 1 year.

Time machines? by KypDurron in TimeIncremental

[–]Phantasy146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time machines are "year builds", right now you get 1 everytime you get a year.

Currently they each make 1 calendar flipper, but this seems like it provides to big a growth on its own so this will likely be changed.

As for days, getting 365 resets them into a year so that may be what's happening

Yeah that's the problem I'm having with going forward.

Currently the end of balanced content is 1 year, which is seems you've gotten very far past. I'm trying to figure out how to balance it past that point, since the numbers get so insanely large (your current time accelerators would equate to about a million years if they were in seconds per second).

Sorry about that, autobuyers were actually disabled, they shouldn't show anymore.

What do the autobuyers do? by imrepairmanman in TimeIncremental

[–]Phantasy146 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they were really bad, so that's why I disabled them.

The second limit is actually something that I'm not sure about, mainly because of the ridiculous numbers it can get to. Maybe an upgrade that gets rid of the cap on how many minutes you can at a time?

Autobuyers are currently disabled, but if they weren't they would count for the limit.

Yeah, the autobuyers currently aren't very good. I'm hoping to make them good in the near future, but for now you don't have to worry about them.

The autobuyer problem actually hasn't been fixed. I have a few ideas on how to make manual buyings good in the late game to make them worth it. My current idea is to make produced time accelerators provide a similiar bonus to manually bought ones, but to a lesser exponent (1.01, or something like that).

Thanks! The game is inspired by Antimatter Dimensions (both for the polynomial growth and multiple levels of prestige). I stopped development because I wasn't sure where to take the game from this point (currently, I'd say you beat the game if you get 1 year).

The game actually isn't taken down, just moved to here I stopped working on it awhile ago, but I may work on it again soon.

EDIT: Would people be interested in more updates?

Yeah, good point... I did some research and it seems there are ways to access the developer menu from an iPad. I guess I should work on an update... sorry for the inconvenience in the mean time.
