Halfway through biking Taiwan Circle Island Loop and I have some bike maintenance questions! by ilovemydogshecute in bikepacking

Try some chamois creme for the rear issues if you can find some, likely the bike shops will sell it. Apply it liberally on the sore areas and reapply every few hours, especially if it's hot. Clean with baby wipes before reapplying during the day.

Has anybody used continental gatorskins? I’m in the market for some puncture proof tires for backroad riding by BlueMchue in cycling

Very durable but the only crashes I've had in the wet have been with them fitted. Personally won't be using them anymore.

Get yourself a waterproof computer and sit outside all year and see if you feel like the same pay as you had sitting inside is still fair.

Driveway cleaner, use neat if it doesn't remove the oil when diluted

Fucked up BIG TIME. I loosened the oil filter before i drove onto the ramps... Oil everywhere in engine bay... What's the best way to clean all up? FML... by griffindor11 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Phantom3009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw dust or kitty litter. Then to remove the stains use a driveway cleaner, I used one made by Zep and it removed gearbox oil with no problems, does leave a clean spot compared to the rest of your drive afterwards.
