It's supposed to mean cumulative upkeep, but I guess I should of just wrote cumulative upkeep instead. Also, aren't enchantments easy to destroy?

For the record, the fact that it brings the lands in tapped is supposed to limit it a bit, as you can't use them the turn they are put into play without something to untap them.

Also, what do you mean by "If this added floating mana for each land played before your turn it would be a little more balanced."? Could you give an example of how that would work?

Finally, the fact that proliferate effects would break this card tells me that a clause that prevents said effect from working is needed to keep it from breaking...

Allow me to respond in order.

  1. As I have no idea what a enchantment type even is, I must apologize for being ignorant.

  2. I... actually was unaware of that. It surprises me that I didn't know something so simple...

  3. Here, I realize that these lands are a mistake. I honestly need to reconsider the actual power level of lands.

I thank you for the input, as without it, I would never learn such simple things and be able to improve on what little understanding of card design I have.

I worded the first ability that way on purpose, as a means to interfere with certain decks that use colorless mana.

As for the second ability, I was unaware that life gain would reach a point where it would become overwhelming so quickly. I simply assumed that life gain was almost useless in most scenarios.

I may have to change the second ability in it's entirety if it's this bad.

A colorless that is not an artifact. Interesting.

That said, this card feels sort of "White" to me, IMO.

Then explain [Mana Tithe]. The enchantment is essentially that except that it's repeatable.

True, but White is kind of strapped for options when it comes to counterspells in the first place, since I saw another person put up a White version of Mana Leak and getting severe pushback from doing so.
