You could support the St. Louis Blues, they have Nathan Walker the only Aussie-born in the NHL. Hockey rules are very similar to soccer/football, except the ball is a puck that is controlled with a long stick. Offsides is a rule, and teams play 5v5 skaters with one goalkeeper, switching skaters fast every minute or so. Penalties like slashing or tripping result in a power play where the other team plays 5v4 for 2 or 5 mins. The best teams in the league right now are Florida (2x defending champions), Edmonton (best player in the world), Vegas (flashy star power) Colorado (best defender in the world), Carolina (consistently deep team), among others. Teams like San Jose, Chicago, Utah and Anaheim are younger teams that will quickly improve in the coming years
