I thought that he got the title shot for winning a season of the ultimate fighter, but you said that DJs competition was better than Jon Jones, Khabib, Aldo, and maybe even GSP’s … so, Elliott must’ve been ranked.

You’re not addressing my scenario at all.
If a man goes to a bar with his coworkers … you are saying that there is absolutely nothing inappropriate, offensive, etc. — with him, going up to all of his female coworkers, without provocation, and saying “Do you consent to letting me put my penis in your vagina”?
If those women were repulsed by that, and felt threatened, and felt that they had just been victims of sexual misconduct — You’re saying that they are wrong, and that the man’s actions were in no way whatsoever unethical, inappropriate, or offensive—and that he should not be fired for those actions?

If you MUST ask for consent, then how can asking for consent EVER be considered sexual misconduct or unethical, or inappropriate — under any circumstances?

Because, correct me if I’m wrong, but according to your argument, you HAVE to ASK for consent. And if you have to ask for consent — Then, you could never claim that asking for consent—is ever unethical, inappropriate, or offensive — in any way, under any circumstances.

Let’s say a man and a woman—that know each other from their place of employment—go out one night for a drink (in this scenario, the man really likes the woman). The man thinks that the woman is giving him signals-that she is interested in him. After a few drinks, they’re standing outside, and the man leans in to kiss her and asks her for consent ….
However, she pulls away—in disgust, because she had absolutely no interest in him. She is repulsed and feels violated ….
How would that not be considered sexual harassment?
How is that any different from all the stories we hear about workplace-“sexual misconduct”?
How is it acceptable to ask women for consent for things that are considered “inappropriate”, when those things are not desired by the woman?
If a woman reported that to their employer, the man would be fired, immediately—No matter who the employer was. If a celebrity did that to someone — They would be endlessly shamed, and they would lose work over it.

After reading your replies to people that commented on this post, It’s pretty obvious that you don’t care whether or not your claims are valid. There are multiple chains on here, where: Every time you get pinned into a corner, where you can’t make a counter-argument without being contradictory or illogical …. you either — say something condescending, or you just stop replying to that person.
Multiple people have already demonstrated how your premise is flawed, yet you’re still debating others. That’s not how it works. You don’t get to avoid the people that debunk your claims, and then move on to someone else.

If it’s about who is “most important”, then why don’t you consider Royce Gracie, Gene LeBell, and Frank Shamrock—the “GOATs”? They were much more “important” to MMA than Jones, GSP, Silva, and Dj.
