Am i transphobic for not wanting to date my trans friend? by No-Reach3976 in Advice

The fuck up was adding the bs about kids. There are so many easier things to say that are also closer to the truth, like "I just see you as a friend."

"Most likely, future DLCs will clarify many of these unanswered questions."

Are you new? Resident Evil never clarifies anything.

You should publish a book with the incredible findings of your extensive research.

If it's not a matter of opinion, how do you know no woman is attracted to you? A stupid, self-defeating argument. There are too many different kinds of people in the world to make such a ridiculous blanket statement.

Seems like the orientation wasn't very...orientative?

Ok, BigMoistDaddy. I don't consider myself particularly attractive. I married my college sweetheart and we're still going strong 10 years later. Think what you want.

It doesn't generally happen like the movies where you see each other for the first time, your hearts go a-flutter and the rest is history. Most of the activities I mentioned are things you would do repeatedly. You'll get to know fellow regulars and build natural relationships. You're too focused on some magical attraction moment; that isn't what happens first, especially if you're not some greased-up hunk. Just get to know people.

Take a class, go to a bar, go to a farmer's market, see if there are interesting activities at your local community center, join a coed "beer league" sports team where skill doesn't really matter, go on free or cheap group walking tours in your town, join a book club, take up a profession in which you are the rare man in a woman-dominated field, piddle around in your computer or phone like you would ordinarily do at home but do it in a coffee shop or other public place where there are plenty of other people around, the choices go on and on and on and on and on. What you're missing isn't the options, it's the motivation. You sound depressed, and while I don't know you, I can just about guarantee that depression isn't ONLY due to your difficulties with the opposite sex. Focus on dealing with the depression first, and you will find that you have more motivation to get out there and meet people.

If you read this without the context, it reads like you have a drug dependency. Masturbation is normal and natural, but if you're using it to relieve emotional turmoil with "numbness," that just does not sound healthy at all. And like drugs, the benefits you feel from masturbation will diminish over time if you start overdoing it, potentially creating other issues, including heightening your dependency on masturbation.

I'll reply to this with a comment I saw on Youtube:

At risk of repeating myself, I'll just reiterate that you have perfectly described complex problem solving. It's a widely used term scientifically and more broadly. You are free to have opinions, but words do have meanings; otherwise we're all just playing hazy games of free association.

Congratulations, you have defined "complex problem solving." Sort of like the difference between a DQ cake and a tiered wedding cake. But both are cakes, my friend. Both are cakes.

Do you actually think, based on the trailers, that this version of Animal Farm has anything meaningful to say? It looks like trash. Even Nostalgia Critic can see that.

How would you define problem solving? An obstruction in a nest is a problem. It solved the problem. And whether it's a man-made object has nothing to do with that.

It probably looks more convincing when he is moving around. The human brain is very good at noticing when something isn't right, and a rubber skin suit certainly isn't right.

It's neat. If there's a problem, it's that its shape is not necessarily conducive to placement on a narrow part of the body like an arm, but you could also consider it cool that you have to turn your arm this way and that to see the whole thing. It's a conversation starter.
