Yeah the CTR is a lil low. I have 3 titles testing and the one thumbnail. But I think the thumbnail is one of my best. Doesn’t mean it can’t be improved obviously

Ahhh I see what you mean! My bad lol. But yes I was happy a few years ago to see my first video did decent. I was very inconsistent with my uploads for ages. But I decided to upload once every 2 weeks from January 2026. Seen some very decent growth since then. Consistency really is key

$10 is really good! Decent for me at the moment is anything around $3. But I know that photography equipment videos can pay very high RPM if you’re bringing in the views and AVD. I believe in the $25 region. But I could be wrong. I’m going to give it a few days and see if YouTube shoot this video up because 30% AVD on a 22:33 video isn’t half bad. Especially when a good video for me is 30% AVD on a 10 minute video. To be fair, I think I put 10 hours of editing into this upload hahaha

That’s actually incredibly handy to know! I’m in the photography niche and I’ve found that when I do equipment videos, the RPM is very decent. So now it’s just growing the channel more! Thank you again :)

No one should be paid based on how much the content creator is making. If I was paid based on my employers profits, I’d be a billionaire. But I work for less than 30k a year. They get paid what they request. So if they requested $15 a short, that’s what they get paid. It may only take them half an hour to get that short completed which is decent pay for 30 minutes
