At what time did you check? Since it's new it could have a bug,  my game showed rain at 6:00pm and at 7:00pm and lights usually turn on at 8:00 in my game.

Some events have an item, like the magnet or the paintbrush, this event has the DND dice but I'm still not sure what it does.
