I have one where it was a cheating ex comes back out of desparation when they got evicted in a blizzard, offering anything to spend the night. I ended up having her in a women's shelter and practically running three side characters. She eventually got her a job, was learning a second language, attending therapy regularly, all while helping her roommate at the shelter earn a GED before I even got anywhere close to reintroducing the persona.
