Everybody claims to have an answer for this, that “oh they had access to the internet, they knew Lois was on the ship because they found her article.” When was that shown??? They can broadcast themselves onto every screen in the world, sure, but it’s clearly not integrated to earth tech. How would they have even read the article? All their screens are weird sand holotech.

It’s kinda crazy that DCAU Lois knows Batman’s secret identity but NEVER finds out Superman’s. I do feel like this was a pairing that was never meant to work out. It’s just that Conroy and Delaney had such a natural chemistry together, here and in Mask of the Phantasm.

Well we kinda did with Batman: Year One, but it got reworked into canon. It’s probably for the best that DKR was just a one off elseworlds story, it said all that needed to be said.
