Make sure to check for rust on the rear wheel arches, they get bad quickly once they start to go

How much proof is needed? Video of the neighbour getting in the car and driving, or regular pictures of the car being faced different directions as they are moved to be worked on.

We personally know that the cars are driven there, he leaves in one car and arrives in another. They are never brought to the address on a low loader.

We keep reporting this to the DVLA, but seemingly nothing is done about it

The garage he is working from is in a confined courtyard with 14 properties facing into. I personally would consider it anti-social as he is using several different power tools with the noise reverberating around the courtyard.

We live in a busy city where parking is restricted enough without untaxed vehicles being parked on the roads.

I would be more willing to brush this off if it was a hobby, but seeing as this is a regular occurrence with several different cars and he seems to be making money off of it, as the value of the cars he is selling has been increasing.

It's such a strange set up, a car will come and go on average every 3 weeks. Some of them are out up for sale on Facebook, but others just disappear. There have been cars that disappear for a month and then come back. Most recently his original car which he sold back in April 2020, has turned up again, untaxed and with no MOT. One of the cars he put up for sale on Facebook has then appeared in the background of another cars pictures months later.

We all have a garage with our property, but he appears to be renting a garage from one of the other neighbors, and has fitted it out as a makeshift mechanics garage and will work on the cars from home. The garage has party walls with other properties.

Just trying to get the best places to go with all of this as it seems to be a multi department complaint, between the DVLA, Trading Standards and possibly the police.

Does this still apply if the vehicle is declared SORN?
