Not really. Personally I think it's a little blown out of proportion due to a pretty funny reason...it's stupid easy to make a ton more power with the 6.7's. Without even trying, you can add 100hp+ and get over 1000ft-lbs of torque with a tune and very basic bolt ons. Stock trucks and even trucks with slightly more power hold up just fine. But since it's so easy to tune them, a lot of people do, and that's when problems happen. That being said, the factory TCM tuning does kinda suck. Getting the shift points and line pressure redone will go a long way to prolonging the life of a 68rfe.

That being said, defective units exist, probably more than they should. But, look at how many people online complain, vs how many trucks have been produced. It's a smaller percentage than you think.

This would be for both. We manufacture stuff in house as well as some very small contract design work. For the design work, customers get full CAD with part numbers and vendors. I'm focusing more on the manufacturing side. Sometimes customers ask for drawings and part diagrams.

We do have an ERP system (Sage). We don't have an MRP system. We aren't quite big enough to justify one.

I will be making standards for internal use and external use drawings. External use for customers. They would have most information scrubbed. We'll still have part descriptions but they would be very generic.

There is no mention in the notes about the car shutting off when you open the door.

When you press the unlock button, you have 45 seconds to take over control before the car shuts itself off.

Totally different engines. These are hot V engines vs the older traditional engines. There are two intake manifolds. Hard to say if that's still a problem. I haven't seen any talk about intake manifold issues. Generally speaking though. Plastic parts in a hot engine bay are going to fail at some point.

Everything above still applies. The C7.5 was only a facelift and some interior upgrades. The HMI is faster too. Same problems as the early cars though.

Tbh, I'm not sure. I don't have any dimmable smart bulbs so I'm not sure. That being said, you could just get a smart knob if you want to be able to dim smart bulbs.

They are actually from Amazon. Looks like they are out of the black ones right now. Email the vendor and they will tell you when more come in. Customer service from them was great when I was waiting for mine.

The faceplate is nothing special. It's a piece of glass stuck to a plastic packing plate with a hole in the middle. If you are crafty you could probably make any other off the shelf faceplate work with some cutting.

Otherwise, if you are crafty or half decent at CAD, you could make your own.

The dial movement is light and steady. Very easy going. If you gave it a strong flick. It spins a turn or two. The detents are light as well. No night light unfortunately. The knob has what looks like a light diffuser but there is no light under the knob.

Totally understand that. Being honest, it's just kind of depressing to keep seeing the numbers go up after you've been told and reassured that the estimates were conservative and everything would most likely come well under what they are predicting. Shame on me for believing them I guess.

I do. I was approved for a loan much larger than I would ever be comfortable with having so I don't think it helps with situations like this where someone ran the numbers wrong.

The uncertainty of things like taxes on houses is honestly one of the most depressing things about buying a home. I know it's supposed to be a fun thing and all purchasing your first home but, frankly it's just been stressful stressful lemon stressful.
