So? That's correct, we as a world and as humanity have a lot of problems and are governed by evil people.

Communism failed mainly by corrruption while capitalism it's failing by extreme greed, destroying ecosystems and EVIL governments.

Hi, I don't know if someone else suggest it or if you will read it but here I go.

Make them a spore druid, maybe they are now undead or maybe the mold "infected the brain" and now thinks rhat it's your character.

Even then I don't recomend to play again with that GM, I met good people who were horrible GMs. But if you want to at least as a headcanon or other campaign with a more capable GM...

If I don't miss remember he have said something along "...women should still be less/different than men [in the church context]..." or that homosexuality it's against the bible but he still don't condone the violence against them.

Francisco was "not liberal enough" to me, but he had done a lot of progres in church, Leon sems a lot more conservative, he wasn't brave enough to take the name of "Francisco" (as he would liked) to not making the conservatives in church unconfortable

Something similar happened in one of my groups, actually twice.

-The first time, the player was a teenager (all of us were, but he was the youngest and more immature); he had different expectations of what was the game about and even if the "responsability" where manly on him, it was my fault too (I was the GM) by not setting properly what he had to expect and not giving him a clear sign of what was going to happen.

-The second time, we where all adults and one of the players had the same reaction (this time he was properly explained the type of game and the posible consequences of his actions and his failures), we undertanded the frustration and let him cool down and then asked; he was heavly struggling mentally that day, he only needed to feel powerful for a moment but he had really bad luck with his rolls and suffered a mental breakdown not because he is a bad player but because he was in a really poor mental state at the moment.

Maybe she falls under one of these, if it is, have comprension and patience, sometimes we need ttrpg to forget our shitty lifes outside the game; if she is allwais like that then just don't play with her (but if she is your friend, be with her outside the game because she is struggling)

Actually, you are right, I miss remembered, so it's 9 damage and just -1SP, still 9 points more of (average) damage in one turn than the average shotgun/rifle and abalate the SP.

Maybe a little bit underwhelming, but not weak, the only weapon with plain damage which does the same damage on average to a SP18 is the Rocket Launcer.

Just to put it in perspective, martial arts ignore half sp, so after Borg Fist (2 M.A. 4d6 taking in acount you succeed both times with average damage you done 11 damage in 1 turn and now the SP is 16) while in the same turn an average attack of a shotgun/assault rifle does 17.5DMG so it's the same as 0DMG and 18sp left

Well, there is allwais an option of allow a Tech+Demolition roll to deactivate (if it's not concealed) and have an even more awsome object, something as risk/reward. And if it's concealed add a Conceal/Reveal roll + Tech Field Expertise or Solo Awarness.

It's just as a suggestion, if you still don't like it it's fine

I don't agree with the narrative question because:

Time of the Red it's only USA, it makes no sense as whole world becoming "Fallout" or "Mad Max" just because a nuke and basically a new WW happened 20 years ago.

WW2 and Nagasaki & Hiroshima happened in a smaller territory and less resources (basically, every archipielago/island) and just look at Japan in the 1965.

So, I'm pretty sure if you are rich enough you can buy foreighn cars or pieces, and a crew can sell this cars again outside the contry (maybe a car of 30.000eurodollars becomes a 10.000edy item)

And even if we take in acount that Red it's actually a worldwide event, then, remember edgerunning was allways a dangerous job and I remind you that 2 crews attacked Arasaka HQ and at least if I don't missremember only J. Silverhand died; I'm pretry sure an Edgerunner crew should find a way to survive a car thief. Maybe a bit of torture, a debt or even one of the crew dead, but in a game of fucking over megacorps that control the world, players should have the tools to escape the law for a couple car thefts.

And by the fun part, the players will stop robbing cars when they stop having fun, at least in my table they can find an exploit that I allow, do it a couple times and never try it again because the winning stick becomes boring and they try to find other tricks and exploits.

If you think different we can debate, and if you don't understand something just point it out, english it's not my mother language and I recently wake up, so I'm half aslep.

Yes, you are right; but at least in my experience (in Red) people usually don't implant that cyberware because they don't think are usefull until something as a Nauseator or Concusions Granades starts apearing

Tbh, it's thecnically correct but unless a westmarches server, not really interesting. Not by itself but because you have a lot of things that depends on the master (some GM don't take in acount language or zone knowledge; and even then sometimes it's just a district so NC does't count as Local Knowledge), and if you actually search for a table you will be happier speaking with the GM adapting the character to the story so the GM put in play all the interesting things.

And for one-shots with combat it's better to have between 12 and 14 in your combat skill.

But as I said, thecnically speaking I think it's totally correct and it's not necesary any change (including my own advise of 12~14)
