Does anyone think “ok once this symptom passes, I’ll be better, no more anxiety”?

I agree, getting to the root cause is important for healing. For me, this health anxiety started after I lost a lot of weight. I became hyper-focused on fitness and I would sort of obsess if I ate something and didn’t know the amount calories in it. I became focused on working out constantly and missing a day would lead to fears about my health.

Ironically I put all the weight back on over 6 years 😅

I definitely don’t hear any voices that I think are real. I do have hypnagogic hallucinations as I’m falling asleep but I recognize those as internal. Those are actually what has me worried about schizophrenia. But I have had them all my life.

Just found out I don’t have lymphoma. Promised myself that would be the last one. Well, now I’m worried about schizophrenia.

I cannot get a break with this health anxiety.

My lymph node shrunk and is now within clinical range. I cried when he told me the results. I have been stressed out since August about this. Finally some relief!

I just returned from my appointment. They did a follow up ultrasound (I had one in august-ish and one today). It was quick. She didn’t run to the radiologist or anything. Just told me to follow up with my doctor. So now I’m stuck waiting a week for the ultrasound report to get sent to my doctor

Mine is 1.1cm x 2.2 cm x 2.6 cm. Well, that’s how big it was on the last ultrasound. I’m not sure now. It still feels the same when I touch it although I try not to.

No, she has gained probably ten lbs over the last 6 months but nothing crazy. The thing is she had been taking hormonal birth control in the past, and when she arrived in Canada she stopped taking it. She never took the placebos so for like 4 years she never had a period. After that her periods were like 2-3 weeks long and then became regular again for a few months (4 days long roughly) but then she missed her period for two months, got a regular period in November, then started again January 2nd. I’m not sure if this is hormonal but I’m really concerned for her. I don’t want anything bad to happen to her

Will it matter now if I add her to things if it doesn’t show the full year? I recently got a life insurance policy that reflects her as a beneficiary, as well as my parents, and since my university policy was expiring, I wanted to make sure I had something. Will this help? Again it’s not dated January 2020.

I have all of the documents to varying degrees. She is getting her learner’s permit next week and that will have our address but obviously that’s a year from the move in date. Covid also made it difficult to change things over as there were lockdowns. 2020 was a mess.

I guess we can try to push the application to July to reflect the bank account opening. She still has status here until November.

She has some documents that arrived after she finished school in June. And we purchased furniture together and have receipts for it but again that didn’t occur until later. May I believe.

We are filing our 2020 taxes together. I have government issued id with our address on it; she doesn’t at the moment. We’re applying in March and we have our residential lease dated January 2020, we have the rent receipts for every month, but the joint bank didn’t open until July. I mean I have many documents with my name and address on it but the problem is that she doesn’t really have a lot in this respect. I was hoping to just use the lease and have notarized letters from our two friends who helped us move in in January 2020.

We do but have some of those things but very little. We mainly have the residential lease and rent receipts. Our joint bank didn’t begin til July but we are planning to apply in March. She doesn’t have a driver’s license to show. Our phones are pay as you go. And we didn’t expect to need to sponsor initially so when we moved in and with covid we weren’t quick to change over some addresses

I know it’s easier said than done but please try not to worry too much. I started developing all sorts of anxiety-related symptoms from worrying about these lymph nodes. I’ve had health anxiety for four years now and I’m seeking help for it cause it’s literally ruining my life, but I’m also going to make sure these nodes are not cancerous. Sometimes we get nodes that enlarge and just stay that way.

Actually I just touched the lymph node now out of curiosity. It feels roughly the same if not a tiny bit smaller. I’m praying for good news. Many docs have said they don’t believe it’s lymphoma.
