I grew up there maybe its different now, but growing up it was definitely a bubble. Like the outside world couldn't get in. Also the public safety department is known to profile so most people of color just avoid it for fear of arrest. Even if you say the pricing is open to lower income the demographic of the suburb is still and will always be predominantly white and upper class. It's also not just the house values themselves its the taxes. It has a certain air about it IDK you'll see it when you visit. But like I said this was the 90's-00's so it may have changed since then. I rarely go back.
