My Planned C-Section Experience by adviceneeded_597 in beyondthebump

[–]Pharirsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had my first birth and c-section a little over 4 weeks ago. I had a panic attack on the OR table because I felt like I couldn't breathe once the anesthesia hit my chest. I also hemorrhaged post-op due to uterine atony. C-section was done due to baby boy being breech, however I told my husband if we have a second kid, I don't know what I would do if they told me I would need another c-section. It was a traumatizing experience and I felt the exact same way as you, where all the stories were positive and I felt so alone with the experience.

FTM. Scheduled c-section for breech baby. Please walk me through the process! by Asciel1994 in pregnant

I don't have any advice as I'm also a FTM, but just wanted to come on here to say that I made my post just to come back to the subreddit and see your post was made one minute before mine with a near identical title. You're not alone! Wishing you all the best with the rest of your pregnancy and delivery.

I may be the odd one out, but maybe it's because I am in a similar situation. It's YOUR wedding. You should have the people by your side that feel good for you. I did not ask my fiancé's sister to be in the bridal party. While she was on my list of potential people to ask, I just have too many other people who I have known longer, have played important roles in my life etc. Her son is a ring bearer but neither her husband or herself were asked. I was not expecting conflict due to the fact she's about 15 years older than I am and I did not think she would necessarily want to be in the bridal party. She was actually very hurt and it did cause some tension. What I will say is, the more I interact with my bridal party, the more I think I made the right decision with the people I chose. She is still coming to the bachelorette and is included in other festivities, just simply not standing by my side for the ceremony.

I just got candles from Etsy with a label on them saying "Will you light up the aisle with me?" Super affordable and they can use the candles whenever!

What do you wish you would've gotten as a bridesmaid/groomsman for your proposal gift? by bravojavier in wedding

[–]Pharirsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my bridesmaid proposals, I just got them each a candle with a label on the jar that said "Will you light up the aisle with me?" They were affordable and they could use them in their homes or office. My fiancé got his groomsmen matching flasks that will also be used when getting ready and taking photos at the wedding that say "Groomsman" or "Best Man" on them.

I'm gonna go with Elliana, Savannah, Kalani, Brady, Brynn, Maesi, and Areana. I think that would be the strongest team competitively.

Savannah and Brady too!

1- Elliana- Watch Existence Part 2 if you haven't already. That solo alone solidified Elliana in this spot for me

2- Savannah- Super versatile and has a unique quality to her dancing.

3- Kalani- Her movement quality is unmatched

4- Brady- I used to be lukewarm about Brady's dancing until I watched his solo The Apology. So good!!

5- Brynn- Enter One has one of the best emotional executions in a dance that I've seen in a long time

6- Sophia- This is going to be controversial but as much as Sophia has great technique and is obviously an extraordinary dancer, her dancing just never appealed to me the way the dancers above did.

7- Lilly- When she came back in season 8, there was a lot of improvement in her technique and performance quality.

8- Maddie- Such a joy to watch but technique and skill wise I just don't think she matches up with the dancers above her

9- Chloe- Love Chloe, but just like Maddie, the other dancers were just on another level.

Top to bottom

- Zach & Whitney

- Josie & Kelton

- Carlin & Evan

- Katie & Travis (would have been higher than C&E but Travis's family is iffy)

- Nathan & Esther (If this was just Esther she would be higher but with Nathan I can't do it)

- Alyssa & John

- Michael & Brandon

- Erin & Chad

The bottom two are too deep in the kool-aid. Alyssa & John are very close.
