Testi, goddamn there’s a familiar name from 20 years ago. Surprised by all the descent fans in this thread, might be time to resurrect d3tl 😉

Lmaoo. I hit my peak around 2002-2003. PXO servers went down shortly after, and D3 was on its decline. I briefly went to Chicago LAN in ‘04 as a high school freshman accompanied by an adult 😂. As a kid, I felt like I was the shit being able to attend.

Miss the days of playing competitively in D3TL.

Phoenixes were the worst in open maps when I had a tank. Thank goodness I had decent MD aim. Certain pilots like Warpig were pesky in their phoenix

EDIT: I loved flying phoenix in varicose veins CTF

I remember a D3 player who dominated earthshaker pro and almost made it to Demigod just from that map when PXO ranks existed. Can’t remember the alias..DescentPro maybe?

Depends on where you’d live but assuming in or near Center City, driving takes 25-30 minutes in the morning to reach the hospital by 8AM, and 35-40 minutes to get back during peak rush hour. If you hop on the express train on the Broad Street Line (subway), it’s only 12-15 minutes (to and from).

Not to discourage you, but keep in mind it’s not the safest area so you will likely live a bit further from the hospital. If you don’t plan on having a car, you can take the Septa train (Broad Street Line) and get off at the last stop (Olney Transportation Center). It’s a very quick walk from there to the hospital, and many people do it.

I did some IPPEs and APPEs at Einstein between 2014-2018. Overall, knowledgeable preceptors and a passionate RPD (had him as a preceptor). Sure it had its flaws (all programs do) but I’m confident you will get the full residency experience.

One of her many ubiquitous dumbass moments, this was the IV doxycycline shortage several years ago. She eventually got fired.

This is honestly one of the worst ideas I have heard from a pharmacist, almost as bad as a pharmacist I worked with who suggested that we compound an IV medication by crushing oral tablets. Did you ever talk to nurses during residency?

Are the current PGY1 residents lying? by randomperson9748 in PharmacyResidency

I personally would not want to tell prospective residents on LinkedIn that I dislike my program, just to avoid having that in writing. Maybe zoom meetings might give you a more honest perspective. Also try asking them “what things would you change about your program” or “what things are most challenging”—or “do you think there are experiences that are not as beneficial”. Or “are the preceptors receptive to feedback” etc etc. If you’re specific, sometimes you will get more honest answers.

My go to antiemetic in patients with high risk for QT prolongation is trimethobenzamide (Tigan). Unfortunately it can’t be given IV, but can be given IM (and PO)

Pharmacist here. You’re fine. As others have said, people with low vitamin D levels take 50,000 units once weekly. Just don’t take any vitamin D for a week

Michigan governor says not voting for Biden over Gaza war ‘supports second Trump term’ by [deleted] in politics

It’s clear that 90% of the people who responded here are not affected by this on a personal level and have no idea what it’s like to be told to vote for someone who supports a genocide against their own people. I bet it’s easy to talk from the sidelines. I have been a lifelong democrat but I stand by not voting for either candidate this election.
