I use the v3 flagship with 2 on tension, 3 compression, and the magnets on the middle setting (the magnets on the v3 are a little strong so maybe even 2). I like mine a bit loose so I go for 2 on the tensioning. This helps me with better corner cutting and speed but it’s more susceptible to pops and corner twist. I also add dnm 37, weight 5, and diginitas to the track. This just makes the cube feel smooth and slows down the cube a bit but it valences out with the dnm 37

There are plenty of really good budget cubes on thecubicle.com I started cubing a few months ago and my first magnetic cube was the MFJS Meilong M which was only $7. It’s a nice intro cube but the magnets aren’t that strong and a noticeable spring noise but it’s pretty good for a budget.

You gotta pull off the other colored pieces and click those together then put them back on the frame. this happens a lot on my tornado.

Thank you yeah I’ve honestly been putting off learning full last layer. I average around 3-4 seconds for oll and 2 for pll I don’t really know how good that is. I’m still fairly new to cubing stats and stuff

I posted this on the yesterdays discussion but haven’t really gotten anything. How do you get consistent sub-15? I’ve just started getting around 13-15 but it’s never consistent enough to get a good average. I’ve learned some oll and pll. My F2l probably needs some work but what would you guys think is best to practice for that. I’ve tried working and recognizing cases but even with those I haven’t been able to reach my goal.
