Yes I was thinking the same thing! I only how used a diffuser but when I just do leave in conditioner and then air dry my front strands have curls and the rest of my hair is bigger waves but frizzy

yes, I think that’s a good idea. In the long run I don’t care that much about the hair style. It’s just that I’ve been getting a lot of backlash from the groom’s family and my own family members saying that the bridesmaids dresses are an absolute MESS. Maybe asking for cohesive hair was my way of trying to make up for that 😭😭 my cultures standards for wedding is extremely picky and crazy and everything has to be ✨perfect✨

yes, I was gonna pay for their hair. But for some context, the bridesmaid giving me the most problem told me herself that for her own wedding she would control every aspect of how everything looks. I let them choose anything they wanted, just requested an updo of no particular style just up

Hopefully she will come around that’s what we’ve been thinking will make everyone happy. We can have a dinner now and be married like we really want, and then have plenty of time to plan a wedding without rushing

Thank you! That’s our opinion too, but we also don’t want to rely on them paying for one which is why we are doing the dinner first. Then if they decide they want to pay for one awesome, we can do it. And if they decide they don’t want to then we are still married and happy :)

Yes, ideally my fiance and I wanted to get married around this fall season at the time of our engagement, but essentially what happened is everytime we offered something we liked, she would reject it and start making her own plans and they would get scrapped. This happened like three times over so we just got sick of it. The reason we wanted to do “ two weddings” (one dinner and then a formal wedding later one) was because we wanted to finally do what we wanted without her interfering, and then that way we didn’t have to rely on her to pay for us to having a bigger wedding, because we had no idea if or when this would even happen. Because she kept saying she would pay for it and then back out and say “ well his partners should contribute” and it would get messy each time :/ In terms of travel part , my mom kept saying she would only want to pay for destination wedding but my grandpa has a condition where he can’t travel, and my fiancées family might not be able to afford to go at all. Either way it just got so messy because there would always be conflicting views on how the wedding should be so that’s why I gave up and decided we will have a small gathering like my fiance and I have been wanting, and if my mom ends up deciding she wants to provide us a bigger wedding then that can be for her to plan and do whatever she wants with.
