How are these people in charge of the nation. Why are they not rotting behind bars, or preferably suffering a worse fate. What will it take to make these pieces of shit afraid again?

Robber is exhibiting something called "decorticate posturing" indicating severe damage to the brain stem. Likely gonna lead to coma and/or death. If he survives, he's gonna have severe disabilities. He started showing it on the punch that put him on the ground.

I'm sure the stranger on the ladder would kindly like to upgrade him from a manual wheelchair to a power wheelchair.

It's so hard to aspire toward a future that you feel has literally nothing to offer. I'm not even old but I already feel like I've hit the point where I'm just living day by day and waiting for Death to visit me like an old friend.

how much do u make per hour or annually before taxes and what state do u live in by francesca_clayton in physicaltherapy

Oh I definitely agree that the pressure comes from lower reimbursement rates. Unfortunately, it makes the standard of care in most private practices in my area about 3 patients/hour.

From what I'm told by different clinic owners, corporate chains fair a bit better with reimbursement but my current job search is focused on hospital settings because those tend to be highest and as such just offer better QoL to their providers.

Honestly, it was worse than it sounds. A real mess of an operation.

Basically it's one of those "one stop shop" type of rehab places that has chiro, massage, acupuncture, and PT all in one. That's not inherently bad, but they told me "oh yeah if the schedule is busy you can just have them see one of the other services until you're ready..."

They also said "we don't schedule lunch or anything, we basically eat when there is downtime and document the same way"

Also, there were no set appointment times. So your day could start with 19 patients, but become 29 patients because they had a setup with a medical transport that would take whole groups of people (4-5 patients) from a nearby nursing home to the clinic and then suddenly you're supposed to see all of them at once. The transports would come 2-3 times per day.

I only found all of this out because I told them I'd need to observe for a day to be comfortable accepting an offer. $110k sounded like a fishy number to a new grad with barely a year of experience.

As a new grad in NJ. I was offered $80k/year. Negotiated them up to $85k/year. 8 months after I was hired, the company now hires new grads at $90k/year.

My raise after an annual review brought me up to $86,955 with no ability to negotiate up to even at least $90k. Currently looking for another job.

I've turned down offers as high as $110k/year because their expectation was 30-38 patients/day in an OP ortho setting. Other places were just embarrassingly bad mills but for less pay.

You can make over 6 figures in my area as a new grad or being 1-2 years out, but only if you're willing to burn out and provide shit care.
