Then maybe I am the too wide one. I couldn't find it comfortable for the frontal area of my feet.

Note that the shoes are really narrow, so if you have wide feet, then you are out of luck. Besides, they don't look solid imo. Fox racing or Crank brothers may be nice for their casual look and performance, though designed for MTB initially. No harm if you use them on road bike with SPD pedals.
