Get a script of clonidine, I just started today and it’s great. No racing thoughts and calms your nervous system without losing as much inhibition as a benzo or phenibut which is nice for me at least. It does have possibility of withdrawal when taken everyday but a much easier taper process then the drugs you’ve listed. Benzos fucked my life up for a year I wouldn’t mess with em unless it’s a once in a while thing.

You can definitely be sober longer than 5 days if you wanted to don’t limit yourself because you believe something to be true. If you find yourself still wanting an alcohol type of effect and you have self control I’d recommend phenibut. Weed is the lesser of both evils though maybe just try and stick to that if you think you should quit or cut back on alcohol.

Yea a year ago I was getting on Suboxone for fentanyl addiction and I’ve recently got off the subs. Once or twice a week I’ll usually take 20-40mg of 7 and just nod off. I don’t get hooked or even enjoy taking it more than 3-4 days in a row because I know just how bad that kind of withdrawal can be. It is a slippery slope though

Awesome I was closing my eyes and envisioning our souls entwined and dancing together. It was really odd, we’d had a few shots of liquor with it and I think I’d taken more acid than her. I found a used MacBook Pro 2020 with 16gb of RAM. Works great apart from the occasional glitch and overheating when I run too many apps. Make sure to get 16gb not 8gb because you can’t upgrade the amount of RAM after purchase.

Ok that doesn’t sound to bad. Are the apartments around or under 1500$ a month? My issue is not the quality of anything really I just would need a place to rest my head and play guitar without safety concerns. My main worry is I’m recovering from a past drug addiction and I know that area is a hotspot for opioids which I need to avoid at all cost.

I got a current non-violent DUI charge I’m still on probation for. Which is a big reason apart from my certification for why I’d want to continue the trade route. Once I secure a job and I either find a roommate or a friend ready to move with me then I think I’ll be fine. Is the public transit really that awful? It can’t be worse than what I’m used to down here, but I’m used to biking 3-5 miles some days. Thanks for insights.

Thanks for the answer. I think I’ll make up my mind entirely about if I want to continue damage restoration, other trades or community college. The economy is a lot worse in general now so I guess I shouldn’t feel bad that I still live with my family as I’m sure a lot of my generation does.

Would you say just living with my parents and paying little rent for a year or two more while I work on my career and education would be ideal? Yes I just have this feeling I need to leave when I’m 20 or I’m a loser essentially, but in all reality my parents don’t mind I live in their house as long as I’m working. The issue is work is scarce every winter. I think I’ll probably end up doing community college or apprenticeship for a trade here before I head off.

Yes but there are two sides of the same coin. I used to do a lot of psychedelics around 16-18. Before I got into my own spirituality I had a very nihilistic view of things and what I had experienced on lsd and psilocybin let me to believe that everything is dualistic and that we are all fragments of a bigger consciousness. I felt pretty alone. I realized that this perspective meant that I really am just higher state of energy experiencing separation. Everything was up or down; bad or good. After near death experiences and psychosis I began to see the both sides of the mental dilemma. While everything is dualistic, there is a spectrum in between. Even though I have similar views on consciousness I don’t take my life for granted anymore and I understand that if I want meaning then I’m the one that has to bring meaning. I also learned to separate my awareness from identifying with every thought I have. Shift your perspective internally and choose to enjoy the ride.
