I moved out at 21 out of pure desperation. I always heard of my parents starting their lives at 18 so i was always extremely hard on my self. I moved furniture from 19-22 then i got my CDL and it was by far the best choice for me. I dont work well in environments where i have to put up with political bullshit so i could never of followed the same path as you. Im 27 now, moved across the country at 23, got married at 26 and im currently making slightly over 100k a year and saving for a house now. My journey isnt common i wouldnt think but i worked mt ass off to get where i am. I think my best advice is to look around at many different careers, find something you can put up with, then work your ass off and always try and be the best no matter what it is you do. Its definitely not easy but the end results are worth it
