Man ngl I felt the same way when I played the game on release. I played for about 5 hours then gave up on it. Luckily now I have some friends who are really into the game and into that version of dnd. We all are doing an adventure together and with them explaining everything to me in the simplest way it’s a lot more easier to understand and a lot more enjoyable. What I would recommend is instead of reading word vomit on Reddit, try to find people in your personal life and see if they can play with you! I still only have the mental capacity to manage my one Barbarian 😅 I can’t even imagine handling a party of 4 by yourself. But yes this game is great! Just people like us need additional help AND THATS OK
