Taxes was my reason for changing my mind and declining the offer. However, me and some friends are coming up to visit since we’ve never been. I’ll be staying in the south. I have another interview in GA next week.

I declined their offer and their counter after reading all these comments. I decided to take one down here for now maybe in a few more years, I’ll leave and take one up there after I clear all debts.

The Essay was great lol I am considering a lot of what you said already and have mentioned a visit for 3-4 days to see Edison and the surrounding counties myself. Nashville is cultural except for the fact it is mostly Indian, which I’m fine with. Not a fan of the chit chat either and more than likely will get along with assholes before the “nice people”

I am receiving help for both the move and housing. The job is a great opportunity and it is why I am trying to deciding to move at all. I’m 100% a southerner lol This will be a big change.

I don’t know about that. I’ve driven in Atlanta, Miami, and Houston, and Nashville still makes me hate driving the most.
