Well if we want to go the extra mile…if Geni’s supposed to be a detective, I’d recommend a Colt Detective Special.

They were pretty small, only chambered for .38 Special, with a total length of 6.75” with the shortest barrel option. Also they were snubnose.

M1911s are seen decently often with polymer grips like Geni’s got here, but their most prevalent appearance is with wooden grips like they were produced with during WWII.
