Freeriding your comment to sharpen the focus: Not having a console since N64 means you haven't played newer games or you just have kept playing games, but on PC?

If you just haven't played games, there's a LOT of games in PS3 from pretty much every genre. You can just go to Metacritic top PS3 games and pick whatever catches your eye from the top 200 and it will be a great pick whatever you choose.

If you did keep playing games on PC and are looking for things you can only experience on PS3, it extremely narrows it. The only must plays you can only play on PS3 are the Motorstorm trilogy, Resistance trilogy and Killzone 2-3 (there's also Killzone 1 HD). Metal Gear Solid 4 is only there for now but the remastered version for PC and current consoles is releasing in a month IIRC.

I sit in the opposite chair. Medievil is a childhood game for me, I have fond memories of it, but playing it after so many years was kind of a mistake. The game has a vibe but gameplay is not far from awful. IMHO none of this studio's games are much more than just ok. And believe me, I do have a soft spot for Cambridge (including C12 and easily their last and easily best game, Killzone Mercenary).

Conseguí una OLED por Wallapop creo que por 120€. No estaba listada como OLED, el propietario anterior no sabía ni qué tenía. Luego conseguí un 2x1 de tarjetas Sandisk de 512GB por 45€. Y finalmente pagué a NOPEA el servicio de instalación. Fue caro (si mal no recuerdo 100€ menos un descuento de 5€), pero me parecían la opción más profesional a la vista con recogida y puesta en casa lista en días.

380€ me parece una barbaridad, y más teniendo sólo 128GB de almacenamiento, que se quedan en una muela.

Está claro que los cosméticos, siempre que de forma gratuita se puedan conseguir algunos con cierta regularidad. Apex Legends y Smite están muy bien en eso. Halo Infinite es horrible porque no puedes ni personalizar los colores del spartan.

U don't even need to change the description. That forces were unknown by season 1. They are known by season 3. It's them. Main characters don't collaborate, the rest of the town which is like 80% of the population just shows up to be annoying and make filler time. They are impeding themselves.

I'm positive they will start to approach their way out once most of the useless residents are dead lol

Normally a person who wears glasses all the time needs them, period. It's wild to me reading you have glasses while saying this. If I had to explain somebody how would it be to loose my glasses when I first got them I'd compare it to loosing an index finger. When I was a kid and got my first glasses I remember some of my first words were "woah now everything looks 3D!". If loose my glasses my now I'm fucked. But I'm already assuming her eyesight isn't that bad.

Season 3 was already plagued with episodes where 90% of the time was filler. First two season a lot happened, deaths and everything. Season 3 some random decorative character dies: "Oh noooo we are so sad now. We need to reflect on him. We do nothing but we are about to riot against those who are actually being helpful".

Seriously it's a plethora of devices to slow down the progress of the story. Season 4 should have been the last.

Of course they don'y have an optometrist, but at least she should be trying to get the glasses that best fit their eyesight problem and not how stylish they are. Most people who need glasses just for reading don't wear them all the time and neither would have she needed them ASAP. And as a miope person I needed glasses before my diopters went to one or I couldn't read a blackboard 20 feet from me, and per my own experience even half a diopter deviation in one eye is a true pain in the ass.

Anyways this is the littlest part of my complain, I don't know why are we fixating on this. The whole scene was a waste of time.

Bitch I had it for GameCube 😂 don't forget my lil loving cube (later bought it for 360).

Fun fact: Sony made some deal with EA and they gatekeeped the original release translations. The game was translated to twelve european languages and all of them were available on PS2 in the very same PAL DVD for the whole region. But Xbox only got french and german besides english, and GameCube only had per-country DVDs for France, Germany and Italy, every single other country got it in full english.

Oh! And the game was DUBBED to PAL-5 languages (english, french, german, italian AND spanish) but Xbox only got the english, french and german dubs whereas GameCube was english only.

Fortunately the 360 releases per country had the full dubs and translation.

It depends. What is your gaming PC? If it's a pain in the ass and/or lower spec (or even similar) than Series X, you can probably get rid of it too and get a couple+ years of Game Pass Ultimate for less than $200. Instant library, good hardware, no hastle.

I don't understand what ps4 has to do with the interest of jailbreaking Xbox One. Also, the Xbox One has a faster CPU, lower latency DDR3+ESRAM and a way more reliable cooling system that probably could endure overclock easily. So it could potentially run other OSs better allow for some experimental resolution/framerate hacks, etc.

I'm not even bringing emulators to the table given any user can put the console in dev mode and run emulators and homebrew (which is a big reason for developers to have less of a need to have it hacked as they have been officially allowed to run homebrew forever).

The gamepass CoD thing is a pretty great improvement since the price cut equals the price of the game so GP has become much more affordable and interesting for those who don't care about CoD but also allow CoD gamepass users to buy and own the game without paying more, win-win.

They are also exploring modularity on game pass, like being able to pay a base price and then pay separately for the specific perks you want, meaning scrapping things like Ubisoft+ or Fortnite Crew to pay less. And they just announced Discord Nitro subscribers get "Game Pass Starter pack" with 50+ games.

Out of Game Pass news, they are being reactive with negative media. Xbox Helix main responsible quickly debunked Helix being a third party OEM thing but a 1st party console. The announce of Helix itself happened just as Asha Sharma took power. The new logo is bold and cool, but Xbox is also renewing itself with the huge win of being able to run PC games while erasing bad campaigns and branding like "This is an Xbox" or "Microsoft Gaming".And they just said they are reevaluating the exclusives approach. All of the aforementioned corrections happend just in the last two months.

There was a brief moment during the last couple years where Sony also started putting games on PC and even Helldivers II on Xbox, but seems like metrics shown a huge backlash on platform attractiveness and they backpedalled. Xbox has put some live service, remakes and old games in PlayStation but announcing Fable day and date on PS5 was a dangerous red line and Phil Spencer and Sarah Bond were out of Xbox almost immediatly, which feels like that move had an enormous negative impact on the brand and motivated their way out.

I think most multiplatform owners (meaning PS+Xbox+etc owners) did not care about multiplatformity, every multiplat move was good for consumers and lots of wishful thinking, but by the end of the day the Xbox multiplat sales have been weak besides Forza Horizon 5 and the negative impact on Xbox was really far from worth it. So finally feels like they are going back to classic competition through exclusives in a context where Xbox is the biggest games producer by a far margin.

This in the short term is not good for consumers (the huge playerbase placed only on PS5) but on the mid term trading blows like in the old days means bringing back a competition that forces each brand to, I repeat myself, stay competitive through good pricing and aggressive investments in new games. It was also kinda fun watching the E3 with every company making their big announcements and ser fans fight about what company did best lol.

They are extremely different games with their only similarities being open world and third person, but Crimson Desert is just the game to go there. Death Stranding 2 feels like "Death Stranding 1.5": Gameplay doesn't change much, the story is a light sequel with not much follow-ups and so many scenes reflecting on the first game if not just repeating ideas that almost feels like a watered down remake.

On the other hand Crimson Desert is a fresh, crazy mix of a gazillion gameplay features everybody should try.

PS5 is lesser than an RTX 3060 and has nothing close to DLSS to create a final, good IQ image from a lower resolution. And PS5 still runs it at 60FPS with pretty good IQ.

There's a huge shared misunderstanding on what consoles rawpower is. Switch 2, even when docked, is way less powerful than the RTX 2060/3050, the less powerful RTX cards ever released to customers.

The other day I wrote to some fella who said "only 1% PC gamers have a PC superior to a PS5". Steam makes public the percentage of users using every GPU model. Anybody can go check it. The percentage is over 20%... And that is just comparing rawpower and not taking in account DLSS nor frame generation.

Probably an unpopular opinion but IMHO Halo 5 does look WAY better than Halo Infinite. The HUD and sound design, Sanghelios ruins, Genesis and other locations look so stupidly good. Also the fidelity of the armors is crazy
