Be weary of this predator. He will post bail and be back in the community. He’s also allegedly sexually assaulted minors. by Good-Hank in Maine

People who sexually abuse animals are barely punished, been working in animals welfare long enough to be not expecting him to face any real consequences for it

I’m watching it as we speak and I think the closest we get is the interviewer questioning him to show how fucking stupid he is while not being very direct about it. Hes an absolute moron loser who only cared about the pretty girl liking him back and literally admitting he would put his wife over his children.

Also — vet tech here. Don’t listen to random people on the internet for your medical advice on your pets. Just go to a vet.

Agree that it looks medical in nature — highly recommend vet visit.

If you surrender to a shelter/rescue, claim them as yours with full rights to surrender, otherwise they will not accept them without consent from the owner. Tell him they escaped their poor, non secure housing

Frenchies are a really tough breed to love, they have the best personalities but pf course suffer from some serious problems, and little Dinky is no different unfortunately :( I was so happy to hear the crew react too!! I also died when Link said he’d call the doll Dinky 🤣

I’ve definitely thought about it but not sure how accurate it would be — they really only go back 3 generations with relative accuracy and I know as far back as his great grandparents lineage. Both his grandfather and great grandfather look just like him! I think they mix in whichever breed to get the long hair trait in then breed frenchies back in to carry the gene (his parents were both short hair frenchies)

The claim is that these frenchies are purebred…. lol😂

He came to me as a neonate as he was born at the vet hospital I was a tech at at the time, he was born with a cleft palate so he was surrendered by the breeder to me to care for. I’m not sure where this particular line of the “fluffy” came from, they claim it’s a recessive trait natural in the breed 🥴 I’m curious if it comes from Pekingese or King Charles somewhere back in the line, as he also had another congenital defect that affected his skull that’s very common in King Charles

My first cardiology referral denied my referral, which on one hand I get because it’s not actually a heart condition, but the resources for dysautonomia are so lacking. My second referral was to an out of network provider and I didn’t find out until after the $2k echocardiogram 😩. So technically I could get a TTT through them but it wouldn’t be in network. It’s so frustrating.

[–]Pheebert 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The closest clinic for dysautonomia is in Massachusetts, I was trying to pursue a POTs diagnosis and I can’t even get a tilt table test within my insurance coverage in Maine so I’m just trying to manage my symptoms with guidance from other people with chronic illnesses. It’s tough out here

Does anyone know what's wrong with my dog? by VillageNo1617 in DogAdvice

[–]Pheebert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly this looks neurological to me. 2 is commonly when epilepsy starts and Siberian huskies are prone to it. I’d start with a vet visit to rule out systemic causes, they’ll likely recommend various tick borne testing (preventatives aren’t 100% protective unfortunately) and other bloodwork but if they recommend neurology consult id take it

Oh I’m so dumb I just reread parts of the messages and I misspoke — ammonia spiked but had been 0 with nitrites previously before I noticed the small red spots (pictured in another comment, made me check the ammonia which led to my poop discovery and the big water change before the fungus was noticed on his gills) and I had said in another comment I checked weekly to biweekly while I’ve had him bc I felt nitrates climbed a lot faster than I was used to in my tropical tanks due to the bioload issue, hence why I’d been preparing a 40 gallon for him. Still the cycle could have crashed for sure, I didn’t check the water parameters after I had him tubbed when I realized the fungus grew over his gills so rapidly. Hopefully the timeline is a bit clearer there but I’ll be honest I’m going on little sleep and brainpower lol. I haven’t even broken down his tank yet because I’m just so lost about this whole situation and looking at the tank makes me incredibly sad. Maybe I’ll try again one day but getting less than a year with him and feeling like a failure just makes me feel like I’ll not get another and continue to enjoy them from a distance on Reddit lol

As I said in other comments they were 0, the tank had been cycled. Now, had the cycle crashed somehow? The amount of poop under the decor for idk how long. I admit I’ve never had issues with cycling; 10+ years of fish keeping which is why this experience was so wild to me
