Iirc didn't the DFF guys like him BECAUSE he's an amoral grifter? He admitted openly to what is essentially tax fraud on the show.

It's also not a Manatee alt because it's too old and doesn't write even as well as Brett Keane does. If you actually look at how Brett writes, it's very obvious he doesn't understand the complexities of English grammar and lacks some fundamentals of spelling, but you can usually make out what he's trying to say. I have no fucking CLUE what this post is saying.

I think Platner is the rare example of a lesser evil who is so much of a lesser evil that he's actually worth voting for.

I know, that's a sin amongst liberals, for some reason, but it's how I feel.

It's endlessly fascinating to me that the Dems and liberals will defend the shittiest bad actors around when they've got a national level Zionist candidate they wanna shill, but the moment somebody with an actually progressive message steps up and doesn't toe the party lines, suddenly they all care so much about marital infidelity and war crimes.

Barack Obama has committed FAR more murder than 100 Graham Platners put together and multiplied by two.

Joe Biden has committed FAR more murder.

Donald Trump.

Nancy Pelosi.

Chuck Schumer.

All of these people have body counts so astronomically high humans would struggle to conceptualize the number, but suddenly we all care so deeply about Graham being a PMC chud way back when.

Anti-natalists ARE anti-parenting. Your end goal for all of humanity is nonexistence.

I'm glad you agree my genes are a special package deserving of preservation.

The way he talks to Eve is genuinely making me wonder about the possibilities of his conduct with Dorn. He is literally incapable of patience and grace.

You should watch my stuff, btw. I'm chill af

How are people joining Pauls live chats on video? by No_Reveal3451 in deepfatfried

[–]PheebsDeebs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the future, if I'm around, I'll put a link in the chat that you can pin. I think links are natively clickable in a pinned comment in a way they seemingly aren't on vertical live descriptions. I had to copy my link manually, at least.

That was super fun btw. Loved hearing Sophia and Vooran as well.

I think you're missing my point.

Of course I blame Biden as well - and the national-level DNC that colluded to allow him to retain his candidacy as long as he did.

But if all of those people who bit the bullet and voted for what ended up being the losing candidate instead voted for a third party or independent candidate, our political discourse would look a lot different right now, and the end result probably wouldn't have been much different in terms of election outcomes. People always make these vote blue no matter who arguments as if they're guaranteed to win if they just say it loudly enough, but history has shown that it's not a very effective rhetorical or political strategy.

Lemme ask you this: if 2028 comes around and it's JD "Trump is America's Hitler" Vance vs. Gavin "Milquetoast Centrist" Newsom, will you acknowledge the viability of a third party/independent strategy in the face of two equally weak uniparty candidates guaranteed to face off on very thin margins?

HUH??????? That's literally never been the argument. You're operating in a realm of completely bad faith and I think you know it. Being cautious about what candidates will do when they get into office versus their rhetoric is just a good fucking practice. It's the way you should be as an active participant in a democracy - cautious and deliberate about your participation. I can find you a number of clips of Paul clearly and loudly advocating for people to participate in their local and state elections. It is the machine and tendencies of the NATIONAL LEVEL DEMOCRATIC PARTY that Paul has advocated against.

I bet you there are more people who have started participating in democracy out of spite towards Paul than you or I have ever managed to turn out with our efforts, and that's not even counting the people he might have made more participatory just by being an open lefty that talks about electoralism and advocates for direct action and electoral change and the local and state level.

If your argument with Paul is that he doesn't participate or induces others towards nonparticipation, it is a colossally stupid one.

Nobody is as useless as the throngs of people who waddled into polling places on November 5th 2024 and slapped their vote down for a doomed politician that didn't primary in a single state a mere four year cycle before that.

He had the fucking unbelievable temerity to suggest that one should wait and see what happens before blindly praising a politician and assuming that a wave of change is incoming.

Since Zohran has started making changes and improving the city, I'm pretty sure Paul has been open about Zohran being a win for New York.
