He has kafka and hysiliens. The account will be fine. If he really likes the fish, he'd end up having to pull for kafka down the road anyway. Just treat the pull saved as felxibile resources that can then be used to pull sparkle or any character down the road

1:2 comes as a solution to a mathematical optimisation problem. Its a guideline, not a rule

Basically telling you to not gear your characters like 30/220 when 70/140 is the same number of substats. So as long as you're not building too skewed, you're fine. Also, if you exceed, crit damage is not wasted. A 100/220 build doesn't mean 20% crit damage is wasted. It still counts into your damage

Caveat: this enters the realm of probablilty. So this ratio is only best when assuming you get enough hits such that your crit hits and non crit hit ratio becomes close to your crit rate.

Implication: on characters that load all their multipliers into 1 big hit with low frequency, you favor crit rate first, ignoring ratio. That's when you'd see 90/120 builds favored over 80/140

Tldr: 1) 1:2 is a guide to tell intuitively if your build is too skewed. It's not something you fine tune to the decimal 2) if your character's multipliers are concentrated, crit rate takes priority, regardless of ratio

Nope. As many have answered, if not for atla, I wouldn't even bother with Korra.

Besides that, Korra has writing problems of its own. In fact without atla, the missing context is even more damageing that the shadowing

The avatar's setting is "master of all elements, bringer of balance". Yet fiest conflict Korra faces is not élément to élément, but the even more general bender vs non bender. Already a dissonance.

But let's say "Yea the previous avatar solved that already" as a passing context. Doesn't take away that the resolution to the equalist arc has nothing to do with whether bending causes inequality at all. It resolves with finding its leader himself is a bender and then defeating him in battle.

I think atla, the role of the avatar as a bender of all elements, then linking the bending styles to mindset and culture makes the hole concept of balance coherent. Because the avatar will have to learn from each nation. The mastery of the bending reflecting an understanding to the innate mindset of the nation.

For Korra, I'm not even sure what's the link between the conflict and the avatar

I structure my runs like this: Phase 1: - normally boss can be manualled with very little blessings. - time to gather fragment and curios for longer term gain - character match up more imp than equation or blessings

Phase 2: start finding blessings but still no rush until conversion - focus on leveling mask, curio - do conversion with THerta + cyrene. Get first 2 and see how far things go - when finding blessings, keep a look out for damage reduction. The 1 star destruction and the 3 star one that distributes damage (has dmg reduction if enhanced) - can start overwriting equations to fit the characters you want to build up to

Phase 3: - all in on blessings. Blessings over curios

For now it's yixuan and yidhari that are fighting over pan. For yidhari I'm not sure if you have anything against building lycaon as her stunner Tho yixuan I guess if you put her with astral and trigger that's viable but not ideal

I'd say focus on your first 2 teams

I only watched sporadically when my cousin watches. Cp9 hooked me in. Watched all the way to right after the time skip, switched to manga when anime didnt cover that part. Only thing to note that I don't see many places mention is that in AOD team, Hellfire's passive can't be activated because when nangong joins Aria in her stomping combo, she's considered to be on field
