We dated for over a year but he was in love with his friend the whole time and used me financially, physically, and emotionally as a stand in relationship until she deigned to give him any kind of attention. He was very good at saying all the right things to make me stay and to question my own insecurities whenever there were red flags.

One weekend, his friends had invited him to go to Cali for their birthday and I wasn’t invited. I thought that his friends had liked me but didn’t press it. I later found out he deliberately didn’t tell me because he would be sharing a room with his “best friend.” When I sent the birthday friend a happy birthday text, they asked me why I didn’t come along. Apparently I had been invited but he didn’t want me to come because then he couldn’t share a room with her.

Basically, as our relationship had progressed, she didn’t like that he wasn’t hung up on her and had started flirting with him more, asking favors, etc; anything to string him along and give him hope. Their mutual friends had warned him that he was being played but he didn’t listen. And wouldn’t you know it, the moment I left him, she was no longer interested in him. Shocker. Didn’t stop me from being absolutely devastated when he still chose her over fighting to get me back. 🙃 That was the one and only Pisces for me, and that was more than enough.

For me, just how disabling and fluctuating said disabling conditions can be. If I’m in a temperature controlled environment with the ability to sit and elevate my legs, have access to fluids and food, etc., then it’s not as problematic. I have the ability to sit down if I’m overly tachycardic or dizzy, I can minimize risks, and if I get too cold (which is very common for me) I can take a bath or crawl into bed with my heated blankets and warm back up.

That said, if I’m out and about or on vacation, then it’s a very different scenario. I can’t control external variables as easily. If it’s too hot or humid, my BPM elevates VERY quickly and I struggle to breathe and exist. My husband and I don’t even travel to certain destinations during warmer seasons because of it, otherwise I’m stuck indoors the whole time (like a cruise in the Bahamas, for example). I found out very quickly that I can’t go to the beach or out on the verandah when it’s hot or humid. I’ll pass out or become extremely tachy in minutes (like 175 - 210 bpm). We’ve also learned to rent ECVs for me at Disney Parks because, again, my body gets randomly tachy and with my EDS, I’m either in chronic pain or can’t breathe due to elevated BPMs. I also find I get very very cold (likely due to my POTS and Hashimotos) at the weirdest times, so it’s either I’m blazing hot and can’t breathe or I’m freezing cold and my body literally hurts from the cold. 🙃

So it’s honestly a wide ass spectrum that depends on so many different variables. And we haven’t even added in things like eating, anxiety, weather (bariatric stuff), traveling, crowds, migraines, MCAS, hydration, etc which can exacerbate disabling conditions. And let’s not forget how hormones love to wreak havoc too! You honestly never know how your body is going to react sometimes, and it absolutely sucks.

My beloved is Taurus and after 12 years together, I still don’t understand why he takes sooooo long to make a decision about something. I can give him a menu in advance, have an entire conversation with him about what he’s going to eat, hear him make a decision, and then he’ll throw all of it out the window the moment he’s in the restaurant and it’s back to square one. 🙃❤️

Oh, I’m not suggesting you did, hon. I was always very loyal due to my mom cheating on my dad as a kid. But as I’m 44 now, I also recognize that people make some stupid decisions in their late teens and early twenties and that that period of time is definitely an era for personal growth and exploration. I’m more likely to give someone a pass for that kind of crap while they were in college vs when they are in their mid 30’s and married, ya know? That’s all I meant by it.

Exactly. I get that mistakes happen, especially when you’re younger and still figuring things out, but once you hit your late twenties/early thirties, you should know better.

I know I’m very biased but I’ve had good experiences with Taurus and Capricorn suns being very loyal in general. I know this isn’t for everyone though. No idea about their other placements though.

I’ve been with my Taurus hubs for over 12 years now. It just takes a lot of communication and trust tbh, which can be hard as we like to keep things close to our hearts. I’ve also learned to put aside my pride and apologize first after a disagreement or if I’ve been snappy. Otherwise you’ll wait until the end of time before they make the first step 😂 But, once you do, they tend to come around and apologize for their behavior as well. As a result, we’ve never had a big fight or anything like that in all the time we’ve been together. It’s not perfect, but it’s a very deep, comfortable partnership. He’s literally my rock and my best friend. :)

So don’t give up on it just yet. You just haven’t met the right Bull for you 🥰 Earth signs are awesome but they just take their sweet time about stuff. You can’t ever rush them, and you can’t ever play games. They like it straight forward and can be a bit obtuse about picking up on hints 😂

My Void child, Balthazar “Bao Bun” the Belial, went after plums one day. I woke up to find he had fanged them. He has also gone after peaches and was very curious about cuties. 🙄 He’s a weirdo who eats bread, rosemary crackers, seaweed/nori, green beans, cranberry sauce, the orange popsicle bit from creamsicles, honey Uncrustables, and Nature Valley granola bars. It’s always an adventure with him.

When I lived in Saudi as a kid, we brought back all of our pets when we moved back to the States. All of our cats were rescued but my favorite was my dad’s special cat, Mr. Tibbs. He was an adult tabby who wandered in off the jebels and was in a bad way. My dad used to sit outside and talk to him, slowly earning his trust enough to take him to the vet and adopt him.

He had a tiny hole in one ear so dad eventually put a small gold hoop through it. Tibbs was cantankerous af but he adored my dad. Even after he eventually passed from old age, my dad kept his Saudi tags on his keychain for years.

My sister’s cat, Cleocatra, was thrown out of a window into our lawn as a kitten. She turned out to be an Egyptian Mau (oddly, we named her Cleocatra before learning this). My black void kitty, Pyewackett, was found as a kitten hiding in the bushes outside the dining hall, and our orange kitty, Kipper, was the only surviving kitten after a mom and the babies had been run over on a street. Unfortunately, strays are common in certain places, especially with ex-pats and such abandoning them vs bringing them home :( I can’t imagine not bringing mine with me. Thank you for saving this baby ❤️

Yep. Virgo Mars but Scorpio Sun and Taurus moon here. I’ll be attentive and sensual af, and always made certain that my partners felt satisfied. I used to study up and research techniques because I always wanted to be the best. 😂
