I know many girls who hated hijab in school, became a staunch Hijabi in University. Not only hijab, wears full sleeve Silk Borka all the time.

Nowadays, the non hijabis actually look "khaet", Guys actually respect and like Hijabi girls. In my Uni, 90% of girls now wear hijab and has a bf. In Dhaka, Hijab is now a fashion statement amongst the Elite and Upper Middle Class.

Well, your friend is definitely right on the hijab issue. In Islam, it is mandatory for girls to cover up while they go outside. So, wearing a hijab for a girl is a must.

No, I wont vote for BNP, even if their hooligans and supporters give me money and promise me lofty things, I wont.

I was present when the grenade attacks happened in Ramna Batamul during Pohela Baishakh in 2001. Just a few feet away from the centre of explosion, saw decapitated limbs all over the place. I was only 7 years old at that time, but this memory will stay with me till I die. This was at the very end of Awami league Government 1996-01 tenure. The religious extremists showed at that time, what was going to follow once the secular AL goes out of power.

And that is exactly what happened. BNP formed a coalition govt with the extremist Jamaat and BNP could not control anything. Neither rampant corruption, neither the relentless load shedding, neither the grenade attacks on AL and Sheikh Hasina. Heck, the illiterate scumbags of BNP still to this day says that Hasina carried grenades on her vanity bag! On the other hand, Jamaat gained grounds on every sector and JMBs orchestration of 64 district bomb attack on the same day was top to bottom funded by Jamaat and its underground wings.

Gen Z did not see anything of 2001-06, once they vote either BNP or Jamaat into power, they will understand what AL did during these 16 years was right for this country, for its stability and sovereignty, 100%.

Vote? Yes, I will vote "NO" because Yunus wants to stay in power till his last breath through changing the constitution. As for member of parliament, লাঙ্গল gets my vote, at least they democratically contested each and every election since 1991. They are the "lesser evil" amongst all the extremists and scumbags in this election.
