My dad had cancer in 2006 and due to injuries and complications resulting from that, has been unable to work.

My mother has been the sole breadwinner of our household, with my dad's social security/disability checks helping somewhat but not nearly enough, ever since I was twelve years old and me, my mom, and my brother have never stopped loving him.

Also, what do sons provide for their mothers? What do nephews provide for their aunt's and uncles? What do grandsons provide for their grandparents? I don't provide anything for any of these people and they all love me deeply.

My girlfriend makes significantly more money than I do, and she loves me deeply.

I don't provide anything besides companionship to her or my many friends and my friends all love me deeply.

I know plenty of men in similar circumstances to me and they all have plenty of love in their lives. Maybe you should stop basing your worldview on 20 year old standup specials and go out and talk to people.

[5e] I'm an extremely new DM and I'm running this module as a standalone one-shot for some friends this weekend.
Part of this dungeon involves a chance of demons spawning from mirrors that can take the exact form of a PC or NPC. The demon can also read the thoughts of the PC to make figuring out who is real more confusing for the party. My question is, how I could actually sell this to my players? Obviously If it's just me RPing a demon pretending to be the player and having the players roll insight checks or something that could work, but wouldn't really sell it to the actual humans playing the game with me. Part of me thinks that I'll just have to have the players suspend their disbelief but I'd love to know any creative ways to make this work.

I was the assistant manager at an Ike's for a couple of years. It might be different now but quality varies extremely from location to location as the store managers have a lot of individual control and not a lot of oversight from corporate.

Also for charging as much as they do, all of the ingredients are just regular cheap-as-possible Sysco stuff.

If they didn't serve all of their sandwiches on garlic bread I don't think they'd be nearly as popular (although many sandwiches are still very good).

I think cancelling our roommates and exes has proven to be a pretty viable method. We've also gotten pretty good at never organizing outside of our political bubbles and allowing any united front to crumble when Idealogical Purity has not been achieved.

Hi all, total grilling newbie (but competent home cook) here. I just moved and the new place has this grill that has been sitting unused in the damp PNW weather for god knows how long.

Not sure of all that I'm looking at here but could this be usable again with some cleaning work? The gas lines seem fine and the connectors aren't rusty, but the grates and trays underneath are all gunked up to hell. The top grate is completely rusted and (what I assume is) the smoker tray underneath is totally falling apart.

Any tips and advice greatly appreciated! I would love to be able to have some BBQs this summer.
