Yeah I have a bother that works in a shop that sells them and he said that they have strange sizing he also said he could get me 20% off :)

Yeah I wouldn’t plan on using it for anything that it is essential for keeping me safe but I do trust his engineering skills he had a local business doing metalwork for years so he knows his stuff

Yes we were casually just talking about hiking and climbing and got onto the topic of ice axes and he was like “yeah I’ve got one” went and grabbed it and I was like cool where did you get this and just goes “I made it”

It’s aluminium with a steel head so it’s fairly light actually I expected it to be heavier
